  • Great little gadget!

    Other than vague setup instructions I have no complaints. I'm glad I purchased it. Great! Postal worker doesn't mind it at all. I use it on my horizontal swing unit. No problems with 700 ft staightline distance from mailbox to my kitchen.
  • Can’t change location

    When setting up it asked me to choose a custom location name so I did. Now whenever I add a new device the drop down defaults to that location and when I click the drop down to choose a new location that is the only location to choose from and there is no option to choose another location. I have deleted and reinstalled the app and there was no change, still only one location.

Please don't worry; you can change or add locations by navigating to the Device Settings page of the device, and then clicking the "Locations" button within the app. This should allow you to manage your locations as needed.   • It’s good except for using multiple devices

    I got their WiFi base with the temperature sensors. Everything works perfectly except for the fact that if you use two devices to monitor your temperatures, only one of them is allowed to be logged in at a time. If you use your other device, you have to log in every time and the other one is logged out. So if my wife wants to see the temperature, she has to log in and and my phone is logged out. Kind of annoying. I hope they can resolve this issue.

  • Offline

    Once installed all smoke detectors eventually go offline. Reset them multiple times and they all eventually drop offline again.. useless

If your smoke detectors belong to our Link+ Pro series, we would like to inform you that interconnecting with smoke detectors will result in the detectors being unable to connect to your smartphone through the wireless network and they will appear offline. Instead of interconnecting your smoke detectors, we recommend connecting them to the X-Sense Home Security app, where their status will be displayed as online. By doing so, when one of the detectors alarms, the other detectors including the base station will also go off. Furthermore, you will be able to receive notifications on your phone and silence the alarms, either through the app or the base station. The interconnecting operation is only necessary when the Wi-Fi network is unavailable in your residence.   • Provides Comfort

    My husband bought this for my Cat’s Catio Shed, and ever since we put power and AC in it I have been so nervous of them being in there. But this little device has provided such comfort and happiness knowing that my phone will alert me of any emergencies. The security system + smoke Alerts is just marvelous gotta love the future!! 10/10

  • What does the red number indicate in app icon?

    Must indicate something but cannot determine from opening app.

  • Buggy with Issues

    Reached out to support for assistance but the instructions returned did not help: 1. Unable to set a location on the mailbox and driveway alarms. Only the base station has location settings. Yet each added device shows “No Location.” The answer sent back to me was to use location management in settings in both added devices. I sent them a photo copy of the settings for each device (driveway and mailbox) showing both these items do not have location settings within their settings. 2. The driveway alarm as an interval setting to reduce false alarms on the same alert. The adjustment wheel will not adjust, locked onto 5 seconds. 3. Although base station and driveway alert show “Online” the mailbox alert doesn’t. It works but there is no consistency across added devices. Restarted iPhone 14Pro, IOS 17.5.1 and the applications without any change.

  • Mostly good, except….

    Set up for 2 driveway alarms was pretty flawless but the Push Notification Interval won’t budge off of 5 seconds. We have deer that set off one alarm and hanging the interval would reduce all those annoying alarms. It would also be helpful to turn down the base volume even more. It’s pretty loud at night and sets off the dog, very unwelcome! More information in the Help area of the app would be, well, helpful.

    You’ve answered my rating by “manspaining” the actual menu items I’ve tried to manipulate. I’m afraid you didn’t read my review with comprehension. The setting won’t budge off the 5 second setting to 30 seconds or any other interval. It simply will not move or set to anything else on the Push Notification Interval. It stays on 5 seconds. I’ve also set the volume as low as it will go. It needs to have a larger range of volume settings. I hope you understand now.

    Dear Suffolk45, Thank you for sharing your experience with our driveway alarms. The push notification interval for the Driveway Alarm is set to a default of 5 seconds. However, you can adjust this interval to a longer duration by going to the alarm's settings page in the app and clicking "Push Notification Interval." Additionally, the app offers the ability to adjust the base station's volume. You can do this by going to the Driveway Alarm's "Device Settings" page and selecting "Sound Settings" to modify the volume. We appreciate your feedback regarding the app's Help section.   • Does not work for s21 security camera?!

    Got a S21 camera from a friend. Tried to set it up, the camera to iPhone barcode doesn’t work. Tried scanning barcode on camera, keeping complaining barcode invalid. So all in all, no joy for even setting it up!

  • Fire Chief Recommended

    I am a volunteer fire chief and have been sharing the product that I personally use in my home with many folks in my community. Not sure if this is in the works, but if X-Sense could create a natural gas detector product as well, this would be a huge benefit!
