My dishwasher washer was linking 2 weeks ago (January 7, 2023). I ventured into the unfinished basement on my day off only to find water dripping on my head. I then went upstairs to check my running dishwasher; I then removed the kickpan, and saw water dripping from the pump motor (I have hardwood floors in the kitchen and luckily found this leak before it ruined them)...not good. I purchased a new dishwasher the next day and had it installed the following weekend. I then found this sensor kit with base station on **. The sensor kit arrived today (1 week after installing the new dishwasher). I had the entire kit installed in 15 minutes. I placed a new leak sensor under the new dishwasher, under the kitchen sink, and under my basement hot water heater. I love that this carbon monoxide detector connects to an app so I can be alerted if needed even when I am not home. It can be placed on a shelf or mounted to a wall. The app will also let you know if the battery is getting low. It does not take up a lot of space and needs barely any set up.
