  • Love these I share them with my family!

My mom, aunty, and I each have one and I love being able to share times when we are thinking of each other in such a simple but thoughtful way! Always makes me smile when the lights are changing colors☺️ thanks for creating something so special! The app is also simple to use and that makes it even better!

  • Love my lamp!!

I have a daughter in Florida and I live in Delaware. I bought her one and one for myself years ago. We use it everyday to each other. Love it! Makes me feel closer to her, and she’ll touch it and I know she’s thinking about me. I will do the same. ❤️ Great to have if you have loved ones away from you. Or anyone you think about often.

  • I love this lamp

I bought this for my granddaughter and grandson who live in another state. We light our lamps several times a day just to say I’m thinking of you and I love you. What a great way to stay connected!
  • Hug Light

What a great way to connect to my “Littles” (grandchildren) we call it our hug light, and we love sending hugs to each other daily. For me the annual fee is so worth the hugs I can send and receive with the on my phone from wherever I am in the world. Highly recommend this.
  • Friendship lamps are wonderful!!!

Years and years ago my daughter bought us the lamps! Mine has been going strong ever since! I bought the two smaller ones for when I was at work we could touch the lamps. Now we have the app and I can touch my lamp wherever I am. We call ours The Love Lamp. One of the best gifts I’ve received!
  • Constant connection issues

It doesn't take much for my lamp to bug out and lose connection. I've tried many troubleshooting techniques and the thing blinks forever. I don't know why because it works perfectly fine at times. It's had way too many connection issues.
  • Wildly overpriced app

The price of this app is just plain bonkers. $25 a year, when I've already paid $100 each for the lamps? That doubles the price of my lamp within four years — for an added function that is literally a single button. In a marketplace where I can buy Procreate for eternity for $12, or unlimited yoga classes for $15 a year, the cost of this very simple add-on makes no sense.

That said, I love the lamp itself and the app does indeed perform as promised, making it possible to stay connected when I travel. However, because I do travel regularly I'm seriously considering switching to an entirely different brand of friendship lamp that includes a free remote touch app. It doesn't make sense economically to keep feeding money to this subscription when I could get a virtually identical setup with a single flat rate purchase.

  • Why

So difficult to connect to Wi-Fi . My lamp is right next to router everything is set up proper I’ve checked and rechecked. I do know my tech stuff. This is my third set up to a new Wi-Fi and each time has been the same. I kid you not I spend hours trying to get this lamp to link up. I keep getting the same responses (Try Again)
If this wasn’t a gift from my children it would have been trashed long ago.
I’ll keep trying. I’m venting my frustration. I know I’m not the only one having this issue.

  • Doesn’t work

Instructions are pretty simple and straight forward but it just won’t find the frame with the app. Attempting to use the advanced setup with my MacBook and it still won’t find it. I’m not a computer programmer but we’ll above average as far as knowledge is concerned. What if I bought one of these for my parents? They wouldn’t stand a chance.
