Search is limited to existing keywords

Copy and Pasting into imessage works fine, but pasting into emails does not bring with it the animation, even though I can paste GIFs from other sources into my email. My bigger concern is that the search bar will not let you search for anything you desire, even if it were not to bring relevant results, but instead will only refresh the results if you choose one of the already present keywords. I couldn't search for the movie Clue, but when I clicked Clueless, there were plenty of Clueless GIFs.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We don't record any user searches, which is why we only operate with our tags. We are currently developing an AI that will allow searching for anything, and the AI will fetch GIFs corresponding to the search. Development is taking time as we are a small team, and our app is entirely free and ad-free. A new version of the macOS app is also in development and will be released in July. Have a great day.

It only post static images, zero animation.

Hello, did you use the GIF in iMessage? Because other messengers do not support copying / pasting GIF. For information Instagram and Facebook block the animation of GIF that do not warn Giphy for anti-competitive reasons.

Great concept but doesn’t seem to work in English

I love the concept and idea behind this app but it wouldn’t recognize any of my most common search terms. Maybe because it’s a French-language app? I’m not sure but this would be exactly what I’m looking for in a privacy-focused GIF keyboard if it actually worked properly.
