I love this app! Very straightforward and helpful, I’m just starting to explore it but I love the sensible, simple tuner design with all the tunings I could ever want and an in-app chord book that makes things really accessible.

Pausing videos
I‘ve only used this app for about 5 minutes, buuuuut I like it. I‘m glad I don’t have to pay 30 something dollars to learn guitar… for one week. The one feature that I either haven’t figured out or that doesn’t exist is pausing the videos. Best Tuner App Yet
I’ve used GuitarTuna for years, even paying for the Pro version for guitar and ukuleles in various tunings. All of the sudden it wants to charge me a monthly subscription, even though I’d paid for the full app. No thanks, GuitarTuna with your cutesy name. You violated my trust. Be gone off my phone!
Enter this great app. Simply works with a nice intuitive interface and easy to see graphics. Nothing annoying, nothing futsy. Chromatic tuner is a bonus. I can already tell I love this. Thank you for a great app!Show lessAngelbeville

hi! this app is pretty good and the tuner works but the only thing we need to fix is the feedback on playing ur instrument. i thought i was doing good until my ukulele sounded weird and said it was right. then i played differently and it still said it was correct pls fix this 🥲

EASIEST GUITAR TUNER APP FOR BEGINNERS
idk why people download the other popular guitar tuning apps when this one is plain out superior i tried out all of them and they were hard and not working. this one has a amazing user interface.abel ninan

Better than others
I was a fan of Guitar Toolkit, before it was abandoned by the developer and stopped functioning. That app cost $10, which I still consider a worthy investment considering the length of time I used the app. I downloaded GuitarTuna, and deleted it immediately when I opened it for the first time as saw it had a monthly subscription signup required to use it at all. Not cool. I would have paid a one-time fee, but a subscription doesn’t make sense for a tool that should operate standalone on my phone.
This app works, and it appears to actually be free. Don’t listen to the reviewers who claim they broke a string trying to tune with this app. Definitely a user malfunction, if not trolling. As far as the aesthetics of the app, I would prefer an analog-style needle to the horizontal line guide, but it doesn’t change the function. The green box indicating “in-tune” is a bit loose, but the center line is on pitch. I recommend this app because it works as advertised within the limits of the iPhone microphone, and it’s actually free with no subscription paywall bullish¡t.Show lessOskar473

You also get all the alternate tuning there is (we're adding more constantly, let us know if you need more) and you can use the chromatic tuner which won't have the green box as you can tune to any pitch that you want. Simple, Easy, No Ads Tuner
I started searching recently for a new tuner app after getting tired of (app that shall not be named) pushing them over and over.
Downloaded this as I know simply piano and liked the “no ads” promo. And I’m more than impressed.
