Awesome app, but needs bug spray
I really like this tuner app. This is the only tuner app I know that is accurate and lets me access other guitar tuning configurations for free (and it comes with a chord library to boot). My only complaint about the app is that whenever I try to tune my A and low E strings, the app gives ridiculous readings saying that those strings are 3000+ tones too high. Please fix this problem, I really like this app.Show lessZr07

thanks for the feedback. Low A and E giving a 3000+ cents difference means the strings are higher than they should (or at least the tuner hears them that way). Please make sure: 1. use a pick - it will make the string sound louder 2. place phone not too close and not too far and try to reduce background noise 3. if you are using an electric (which sounds like it as the heavier strings produce lower sounds that when unamplified would sound higher harmonics from the hitting the string), use an amp! if still doesn't help, let us know at tune@hellosimply.comBest tuning app hands down
I’ve downloaded ALOT of tuning apps. This one is leaps and bounds ahead of the others, simply because you can access all the different tunings, without paying a fee.
Other apps you get standard tuning, and that’s it, then they want $50 a year. Not happening dude, this one you can’t go wrong withDeyheimler
Good enough, no complaints
Quick, str8 to the point.. after the download and 30 seconds it took for the app to set up, I easily corrected the tuning to my acoustic guitar AND ukulele.

This is the best tuner I’ve downloaded. You can do different tunes and instruments. It’s hard to find a tunar that doesn’t do just standard guitar tuning rather than bass tuning.pneidshonry
Best tuner
I have been looking around all day for the right tuner for an electric guitar and this is the only one that gets the job done. We were extremely frustrated after receiving a new Stratocaster and this is the one that gives us the right tone. I am very impressed and I love this app.Reeesaaaayyy

Thanks for the review! New guitars can be sometimes frustrating due to how the factory set it up and the fresh strings. If the guitar is a from a guitar store, it really depends if the guitar was on display or kept in a case. New strings take time to get adjusted to the tension so they might require more tuning sessions throughout the day, especially the G string (3rd string) is notorious for getting out of tune in certain guitars, like Les Paul. It works perfectly. It’s not full of annoying ads and it’s free. The least I could do is leave a review and say thank you. If an app they could easily charge money for and people would gladly pay for it. Coming from someone that has played for 30 years and normally tunes by ear, my guitar does sound MUCH better when dialed in perfectly. Thanks again!Show lessCPyle77

Love the app. The software that has gone into this app has been very beneficial to my learning. I am not good with tuning guitars, and this app has helped guide me to know what sounds “right”. This app is not only beneficial to me, but to my peers, friends, and classmates. The next person to use my guitar will have it already for them (tuning wise), and will be all set to go.
