Helped Me Return to the Catholic Faith
Separated from the Church as a child, my parents opting to join the Mormon church, and then after their separation, a modern Baptist congregation where I was baptised. Up until a few months ago, I was essentially non-denominational and almost at a loss, until I came across a series of videos breaking down The Divine Comedy; the man talking about each section would occasionally regale God and Christ not as an angry and judgmental being as I was used to hearing, but as someone who was infinitely patient and eagerly awaiting our return to Him. The more he spoke about the subject, the more it moved me and made me realise I saw Him all wrong.
I came across this app in my journey to prepare myself to rejoin the faith and gain a newfound understanding of the Lord, and have yet to be disappointed. I feel at peace, but know my journey is just beginning. Very grateful to my chance encounter online, and to this app, for opening my eyes and heart to His love and grace. I’ve been listening to sleep stories for the past two weeks and I can feel the difference in the quality of my sleep. Listening to God’s word in bed has been such a blessing. Amen for the Amen app
I was not close to my Catholic faith nor did I know much about it. I went to church only on holidays. I’m not even sure who told me about the app or what even made me download it. All I know is I have been a very bad marriage and have been very lonely for a long time. Listening to the Amen app while I walk my dogs or when I’m down has just brought me such a sense of peace. I’m not alone anymore. I have Jesus in my life and he is all I need! When I have a problem I listen and somehow the message always pertains to what I need. I am more at peace than I ever have been. I go to church all the time I actually became a EM at my church I try to help volunteer when I can. I don’t let my husband bully me into not going to church. I know I still need help getting through my everyday life but it is way WAY BETTER with Jesus in it !!!Show lessSatisfied with Him

The daily readings
I find it all helpful but love the daily readings and the three reflective questions at the end - what is God saying fro you, how will you respond, how can you take what you have heard and use it for you to be a blessing for others. And then the exhortation from scripture each day to ‘be joyful Always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances this is God’s will you in Christ Jesus lovely to be reminded.Show lesswould you believe it!

This app has really helped with meditations
I really enjoy the meditations application of this app as well as the radio dramas of St Patrick and the new one I am now listening to of St Joan of arc. Very well acted and so enjoyable!! Thank you!! I am wondering though? What has happened to the application Roses Among Thorns? I was really enjoying listening to that particular one and Re listening to it and was never able to finish them all and now it’s not in my app🤷🏻♀️🌹 I’m missing it. That was a favorite. Can I please request it is returned? 🌹💝 Thank you!! I am a traditional Catholic so some parts of the app I’m not interested in like the luminous mystery of the rosary or the Bible app because it’s a modern Bible. Please I recommend you use a much older Bible like the Douay Rheims. You’re missing ALOT when you’re using such a modern version. But much of your app is very nice. Thank you.Show lessivyvgvgvi
