Wonderful free prayer app
I jumped from a popular prayer app to Amen after free content was no longer free that I had been enjoying on the other app. I found the meditations on Amen to be excellent - I am especially enjoying the bedtime stories and the voices don’t get in the way of the message. Would like to suggest perhaps adding meditative instrumentals that would be appropriate for your app. Organ with flute or classical guitar etc.
Somehow Amen - Augustine Institute is able to make a prayer app that is free without ads and it doesn’t have to be so sophisticated as to make it no longer feasible but can still be spiritually effective.

Brilliantly Designed App
I originally got this app because I was looking for something that could help me relax at night. And this did the trick, most assuredly. However, I soon ventured deeper into the prayer selections, the Rosary, the novenas, the chapters, etc. If you are a practicing Catholic, and you do not own this app, I would have to ask, “WHY NOT?” In our hectic days of this modern society in which we live, one of the first things we fall away from is prayer time. And in times like these, it is the one thing we should NEVER give up. A closer walk with our Lord can bring you unimaginable peace, and an understanding of God’s will for our life. Do yourself a favor, and immediately begin getting closer to Our Father each day, through the power of prayer. And let this app be your guide to the beautiful prayers of the Catholic Church. Great App!
I have really enjoyed this app! Use it daily to listen to readings and absolutely love the prayers!! I usually play the Universal Prayer and Litany of Humility several times in the morning when I am getting ready for work, they are beautiful and have really helped me to be mindful. The only slight dislike for me (and I think I’m in the minority🙃) is the background music. I would like a choice to disable that or the ability to choose what kind of background music and perhaps softer, instead of the continuous repetition of this one that for me is tedious. A Spiritual Work of Mercy
I want to thank the developers of this app from the bottom of my heart. As a stay at home mother to several young children, it is very difficult for me to find islands of peace and to contemplate God’s word as I once did. This app is a wonderful tool to help one focus and open their minds and hearts to contemplate God daily, even in small moments. I already try to do aspirational prayers throughout the day, but was missing the more meditative side. This app has helped me to carve out even ten minutes to sit with God in a constructive way that leaves me refreshed afterwards. And it’s all free. This app is a true spiritual work of mercy, and I pray that God abundantly blesses everyone involved in its creation and upkeep who have made this lovely contemplative tool available for free to everyone.Show lessPardCritic

Nascent thoughts of a Rookie User
I’ve only been using the App for several days now so I still don’t really know my way around. What I’ve been able to figure out so far has been functionally sound and pretty easy to use. At first I wasn’t sure, however now that I’m used to it I do like the continuous background music. For me it sets the mood and I like the selection so the continuous music is meditative and very nice for continuity of thought. I’ll write another review (update) in a few weeks. By then I should be up to speed. I’m not expecting any radical changes in approach so if I’m correct then I’ll just be more familiar with the design and functionality and hopefully able to provide some useful insight. Thanks for sharing the fruits of your talent and skills to bring us this application.

The sleep app is really helpful. I enjoy each new addition. The daily readings are helpful to start the day, but the background music is too loud as the listener is hearing ‘sung’ words which contrast with the spoken.Cllr M
Through Prayer God provides
This is just what I needed. God provided. I was speaking to a Brother from Church about having difficulty finding time to pray 🙏🏼 and meditate. Not a day later that I come across this free Amen app. Seek and you will find 😊 It’s been a wonderful getting daily emails with the Daily Readings and meditation with links to have them read to me. I click the link, close my eyes, pray and meditate. We have to take care of ourselves before we can take care of others. This app has been inspirational. I look forward to it each day.
