Bait and switch, beware!
Claims that it’s main feature is to analyze photos of food and estimate calories. After wasting 10 minutes registering and entering meaningless information it tells me that’s a “premium” feature. In other words, there is no way to test out whether the AI analysis of photos actually works - something I’m frankly skeptical of – before paying for it! At least offer a free sample. Hey Caveat, you can take 1 free photo per day to try it out without starting a trial. After that you can start a 7 day free trial with unlimited photo logs per day! I am trying to test the app, and it looks like it doesn’t support photo uploads. So I can’t test with the picture of the yogurt I got this morning. Also, it seems to say it doesn’t support more than one pic a day? I am supposed to do a photo montage of my food at the end of the day? Ok, I get it. AI analysis is expensive so the push is to make me subscribe. The app Calories Mama doesn’t have this restriction, but I hate its user interface. This app, the UI is cleaner but I can’t test it with the current limitations so I’ll sure never subscribe to it either.Show lessHappyMazeRaider

App crashes consistently / bad sync with Apple Health
App crashes consistently and when syncing with Apple Health meals are counted multiple times.
Needs a lot of work and disappointed with amount of money spent.AndyMac1983
Incredible accuracy.
I use the photo estimates and add some info with the food log. I am amazed how accurate it is. Hopefully I’ll continue to use it lolKathcan

This is a great app and the development team is actively engaged with users. They actually have a WhatsApp group you can join and provide feedback and input. For interesting features they will ask for a one to one user feedback session
The app itself is very accurate especially if your phone has lidar and supports volumetric estimation. I have actually lost a lot of weight just using this app. It has a lot of functionality and can adjust to your nutrition goals such as low card, calorie counting, healthy nutrition etc
There is still some issues that need improvement or enhancement but with the development team as active and responsive as they are then I am confident in the ongoing progress.
I have paid for an annual license to this software. It did take some convincing as it’s billed annually but so far (6 months) it’s money well worth itShow lessPanikosC

I used the app briefly and decided it wasn’t for me but their customer service was outstanding. They issued me a full refund very promptly after I emailed them and were very easy to work with.Beth H89
