I've tested the app on pretty tricky edge cases, and due to its combination of human annotation with computer vision it handles them very well

The concept of this app is great but the execution is just not there. The app often can not distinguish between food. It identified shredded cheese on a plate as hash browns. The subscription cost does not justify the current capabilities. However once the tech matures much more than it’s current state it could revolutionize tracking. Just not there yet. Love this app. I don’t have the time or willpower to manually log my calories. This app gives me a quick and easy way to both have a calorie estimate for the day and a photo journal of what I have eaten. Makes me more aware of how much I am eating and make healthier choices.
