  • Internal error. Can’t even get started

I have tried to start using this app with email, Facebook, and Google. I keep getting “internal error,” messages. When I bought a Donner ukulele, it said we would get free lessons on this app. So disappointing for my 8 year old.
  • Wish there was also an IPad app

I really like this app but I wish there were also an iPad version- it can be hard to see some of the details on your phone when you are also trying to play.

  • Great instructions, poor app execution

So the lessons are great. However, the app execution is seriously lacking. The main bug, and this is huge for me, is it will only stay in tiny screen portrait mode and won’t switch to the bigger screen landscape mode when in a video. The box to do so is unresponsive. This is on an iPhone SE (2022 edition).

  • Can’t even sign in.

When you get internal errors for verification or refusal to recognise accounts, then you get nowhere.

Pity the app isn’t a patch on their physical products. Products great, app not.
  • Super easy

The lessons are easy to follow and give you advice for every step you take, it really has helped me build some confidence in chords. Not to mention the rest of the app’s features. It includes a tuner that tells you exactly how to tune each knob, and a metronome to keep you in time. Everything is made by real people who have gone through the struggles and watch videos on how they overcome it. The app is really just amazing.

  • Good Instructional Instrument App

First time opening the app you are promoted with the instrument you would like to learn and style you prefer. Once completed the app gives you a slew of various instructors who will give you their techniques to how they play. Joshua Tucker was pretty good with his flow and explanation on the drums. I myself have wanted to expand on my knowledge of a drum kit. The app is free to use but you can support the developer through their shop where you can purchase your preferred instrument. Pretty cool :)

  • Great Community!

Even though I’m new to the drums and this app seems pretty new, there are a lot of great community tutorials and professional ones. I wasn’t aware of this brand before, but it looks like they sell some cool gear too and have a lot of discounts. Great for me since I’m still buying stuff for my drum kit.

  • Easy to use

As a beginner, Donner has been great for me. This app has a wide range of teachers with many unique videos that teach many things. The variety of instruments taught is quite large and would definitely recommend it.
  • Great music app!

I love the music community on the Donner app. , it’s very fun and chill. You could share music and ideas! Can’t wait to use this app more and meet new musicians! I love to teach drums on this platform.
