  • FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!!!!!!

    I’ve taken out a personal loan with them several years ago with no issues. Recently I applied and was approved for a credit card. I received two emails stating my card would be delivered within 7-10 business days. I called customer service after 12 business days to at least get a mailing status of my card, and the representative stated they could not provide a tracking number and the actual delivery time is upwards to 15+ business days. I would have never risked my credit score with them to cover an emergency medical expense if I would’ve known their delivery time would be weeks past advertised.

  • Account fraud

    Had fraud on my account which they did not catch until after $600 was charged which led me to go over limit in the process of getting a home loan which dropped my credit rating causing my interest on my mortgage to go from 5.5 to 6,5%! I called them repeatedly and am on hold for 30 minutes, transferred another 30 minutes and get no help! I reported the fraud to them, the mortgage company, and all the major credit bureaus even the BBB. I paid off the card and requested they send a notice to the credit bureau letting them know it was an error on their part. 30 days later its still under investigation, no letter to the credit bureaus and still no $600! Well, contacting the state attorney of Illinois to get involved- maybe Avant will pay for our new home when I sue them! I did all correspondence by saved emails 👍🏼

  • Horrible card

    Not able to use the card unless you call first. When you get mad for not being able to use your credit card all they do is say they can’t control the declines or approvals for transactions but it’s showing an error for the card user input. They never take responsibility or try to fix the issue. You have to stand there and ask permission for your card to work. Even when there’s 3 times the amount of available credit from the total your spending. All they do is say it’s your fault and try the transaction again.

  • Visa Debit card payments not accepted

    My bank has switched to Visa Debit Cards. Not CREDIT CARDS but a Debit card. Your system will not accept my Debit Card issued by my bank to pay my bill. My bank does not have an option for a debit card, I must use what they offer. It is not my fault your system cannot tell the difference in a debit card and credit card. This makes it difficult for me to pay my bill because I do not want you to have my bank account numbers to just take money. I used my bank today to make a payment because Avant is ruining my credit with late payments and is increasing my balance charging me fees for being over the limit and late. This is your fault not mine. I am more than angry about all this and after 7 phone calls I have found that Avant really doesn’t care about my as a customer, it’s about getting paid. I am told Avant is never going to accept Visa debit cards and that I just need to find a way to pay my bill. I love my Avant card and do not want to cancel it and I have no problem paying my bill, but Avant needs to accept my debit card.

  • Recent transactions need to be on the main page

    Why does the main page of the app only show payments? When I open up the app to see my card, the first page should show recent transactions (to include recent payments). Every other credit card app does this. I can navigate with a couple clicks to see recent transactions, but it should be the on the main page. Other than that the app works fine, but this seems like a huge oversight.

  • Ugh

    I’ve had this card since 2020 and I started with a 300 limit and now all these years later I’m only at 1000. Back then I was all excited because I was rebuilding my credit and they were willing to give me a chance. I don’t carry a balance in fact it’s been paid off everytime. I called this morning because I needed to update my address and I read it off to the guy and he reads it back to me correctly and then I refresh the app and realize he has me in a completely different city and state that I said. I had to call to update my address and it was still put in incorrectly. I try my best not to have to call in because I can barely understand what anybody is saying. What I did ask him hey how do I go about a credit line increase because they’re charging $100 for an annual fee for the smallest balance that I have and he says they periodically do it and they will let me know when they’re ready. Not even worth the hard inquiry or the annual fee. Luckily this isn’t my oldest card so I am most likely going to close this account and go for something better.

  • Great card to have

    No issues at all. Have had this card about a year. Started with a $3,000 limit and I thought that was as high as they would go ever. To my surprise I received a credit limit increase today. All on time payments and keep my balance between zero and 20% of my credit limit.
  • Customer service was horrible

    When my account got hacked and people were trying to take my money from my actually account I called them and they were like I can’t do anything for you if it goes through it goes through. Would not pass me to a manager until 2 hours later and then sent me another card cause I reported fraud for the old one then never shows up then when I ask they ask me that I needed to prove it was me who had called even thou I had updated my address prior to the cancellation of the first card.

  • I do not like this app because

    I do not like this app because I have to call Avent to change personal information and when I call the change it in there system but it doesn’t change in the app and all I was trying to do is change my old phone number to my new phone number and when I talked too someone on the phone I couldn’t understand them and they would never say when the change where going to be and I had one person hang up on me and I called them three times and I don’t understand if they can change it in the system why not in the app but the can call me when they want there money and they sure don’t waste their time taking my money and they do tell you that they are going to give you a increase on your card either so why can’t they just work with you when you want to update you phone number

    For security reasons, we don't allow changes to certain personal information through your account portal. While you may update your bank account information online, you'll have to contact customer service to update your name, address, phone number, or email address.     I really appreciate you guys and what you do. Some people are great but run into issues with life and you guys giving me a second chance. App is easy to pay. Thank you. My wife got cancer and with everything I’m trying to do with her it put me in a bind. I’m a good honest man just ran into financial issues because of her situation.
