  • Love This Card!

    This card truly helped me to re-establish my credit! Not only did they help rebuild my credit. But by making my payments on time. They increased my credit limit. I highly recommend this card for anyone that’s looking to rebuild or even improve your credit history.
  • Avant credit card

    Great creditor, gave me a chance when I was having a hard time . Increased my credit line just a few short months after opening the line of credit no problem. I simply asked through the app and was approved instantly. All good things! Thanks Avant!
  • Terrible

    Don’t make the mistake of using Avant. I made my payment, the payment posted and was removed from my bank account and then was told by them it will take 10 calendar days for it to reflect on my Avant account and have access to any funds. This left me stranded in another state as I had paid this card off to be able to use it on my trip. Then I was told on 3 different days that a supervisor would call me because they apparently have none ever available and not to my surprise no one ever reached out. These people are a joke and their customer service is atrocious. Don’t bother signing up with them.

  • HORRIBLE APP UPDATE!!!!!

    The app update was the most ridiculous and stupidest way to do it ever. I cannot believe they actually paid people to update it. If you already have an account they are not updating but built a whole new app. Trying to get your account open is stolid and they tried getting a new account number and activate a card I do not have. Absolutely obnoxious.

  • Horrible payment policy

    I honestly NEVER review things. It’s gotta be amazing or horrible for me to waste my time.
    I’ve only had the card long enough for one payment cycle and I paid it off completely.
    My payment shows and it’s been taken out of the bank I used to make the payment but it’s still showing I only have $1 available to spend.
    I called and spoke to someone and I guess their policy is that it takes 7-10 business days after the payment has posted to show your actual available credit to use. That’s nearly half a month! So now it’s just going to be a card that sits there and doesn’t get used.

    We're sorry to hear about your experience. It seems like there may be a misunderstanding about one or more of our services. Your payment will be reflected in your available credit within one to ten calendar days from when the payment is applied. Be advised, that you will receive credit for making the payment on the scheduled date indicated on your customer dashboard.
  • Worst credit card company

    First off if you make one late payment they will NEVER increase your credit line or even excuse your late fee. I paid off the card last month and closed the account some how I’m still being charged interest or an annual fee idk what it is but 6.50 for an account that’s paid off in full and closed it crazy. I’ve been a member since September 2020 almost 4 years and I will always warn against avant. I forgot to mention the customer service reps, barely speak. Understandable English so there’s always a misunderstanding.

If you did not make a statement balance payment during your last statement period, you will receive an interest charge on your next statement for any interest accrued during that period. This is called "trailing interest." If you believe there was an error with your statement, please email cardresolutions@avant.com.

  • Love the new App

    I am about to pay off my 2nd loan with your company and I have enjoyed working with you. The only issue I have is you just changed to a new app and I really like it. I am almost sorry that I have just scheduled my last payment. Bitter Sweet :) Thank you!!
  • Poor choice for a credit card

    I’ve had nothing but the worst of luck with this card it’s been declining my lunches because it reads my works vending machine as a fraud closing my card causing me to call avant- multiple times a day and they then make the decline charge still appear as credit used as soon as this cards paid it’s going in the trash

  • Unable to update personal information

    Can’t update my phone number in the app and even though I’ve called customer service (which is a joke at best) they apparently can’t change it on the app either. I applied for this card through credit karma which says credit line of 1,000-2,500 but my credit limit was $300 and they charged the yearly fee on my first statement so it is the box my credit limit was only $225. Definitely not worth the headache and risking my credit that I am working to rebuild due to Avant utilizing Shay at best practices and policies.
