Both challenging and satisfying
My first foray into the Kingdom Rush franchise, and my first real attempt at a tower defence game. This game is immersive and addictive. Plenty challenge to keep you busy, and with graphics and sound effects that are truely satisfying.
The only suggestion I can make is to add support for Spacial Audio to make the already impressive soundtrack truely immersive.Show lessDrasai
Classic TD game w/ twists, excellent execution
This is the TD game that I've been yearning for on mobile and desktop. It's your classic tower defense game but with a lot of twists (heroes, environmental, boss type mobs, map changes) and enough depth in with the tower types and evolution to keep things very interesting.
Lots of strategic fun and the optimization problem becomes really interesting as you progress from map to map.
Oh yeah, and the fact that it syncs up b/w mobile and desktop? Awesome. And the desktop app is also done very well. I love it.

Tough game at first
Game seems a bit difficult at first but thats the learning curve, be patient and try new strategies and you will progress.
Only problem so far is I have gotten a couple of Traceback blue screens and the game crashes.carlvjack

I must say, this game is fun. I’ve played through the regular game, and enjoyed it, but now I have access to all the heroes. Awesome!! There is new maps and towers as well, not just the same content. The only slight thing I’ve noticed is that this game feels a lot harder than the original, and I struggle to beat levels on easy difficulty. Might just be that I forgot how to play, but definitely feels harder.Show lessGet Rqkt

Mechanics feel like they were designed to make players spend money but obviously it’s on subscription so it just makes it a grindfest/snoozefest. Game is fun though.Empzap
It’s been a long time
It’s been a long time since I’ve played a good, no ad, no micro transactions tower defense game. Everything in the game feels balanced so far and the bosses aren’t too terribly difficult but the right amount of difficulty.

Frustrating lack of mid-level save!
This game is great and has very quickly become my go to. It is however incredibly frustrating getting far into a level only to have to pop away and do something then come back to find I have to start all over again as the game doesn’t remember where I left off! Why this one is perfect compared to the non-apple arcade version
The reason for this because there is no micro transaction meaning all the hero’s are free! This makes the gameplay much more interesting because instead of the four free hero’s you get sixteen (including the already free ones). I think you should get this game even if the Apple Arcade does cost 4.99 a month.Show lessThe 808 gamer

Literally the best tower defense + nostalgia
Excellent game. Can be very challenging if you want it to be or can be fun just to try all sorts of set ups. The story and art is fun. Also, for those wondering, the difference between this and the other versions on the App Store is that this includes all heroes. They just won’t be available until later stages.
