Great just short
I’m changing my review. After beating the game, some bonus levels popped up. They have proven to be so difficult, that’s it’s made the game the opposite of fun. I have tried over 60 times to beat these 3 island levels with no luck. I’m on the 3rd, and literally tried 61 times now with every combination of upgrade you can think of. Every tower I could possibly put down. I have the best dragon you can get. Still nothing. Why make this game so easy to beat for the most part but have these bonus levels so friggin hard??? Then make it have no replay value to speak of??? Nonsense.

Fantastic Time Killer
I found myself sitting down and saying “I’ll do just another level” and almost an hour later I’ve completely lost track of time. A beautifully well crafted tower defence game which is the right balance of challenging and fun. The levels are full of nerdy little Easter eggs and beautifully crafted assets.

I have knocked a star off of the review because, unless you unlock your screen orientation, the game forces you to play the opposite orientation to every other app I have ever used. I wish you added an option to hard rotate the application in the settings, or just change it.

Pretty good
Pros:
Love how each level has its own gimmick and something that makes it different
The hero’s are pretty cool and diverse
The variety of towers
You start with a very good amount of money each level
You get gems every kill so you can get stuff from the gem store
The tech tree is great
Love the tower combo possibilities (ex. Guard tower+ mortar)

Cons:
No speed up
A little to difficult even on the easiest difficulty
The stuff you buy with gems don’t really help to much other than the nuke

Overall pretty good but there could be some things that could be better :)

Great, could use some extra modes perhaps?
This might be a weird thing to ask since it’s my first TD game and I don’t know if they’re meant to have these, but I would enjoy if there were perhaps a sandbox mode (for people like me who enjoy messing around) and a multiplayer mode (for people who like playing with their friends). Not insisting you add these, but if you do you’ll get another 5-star rating.

Fun but needs a real easy level
Really nice remake of a Flash classic tower defense game and love that I’m not constantly peppered with ads. One thing I’d really like is a real Easy mode. Even on casual, the levels get very hard very fast. I’m having to grind out levels to level up my heroes to be able to help out more, and grinding is the very definition of Not Fun.

Feels unbalanced
Game is too difficult. Even in casual mode you need to use the gems to beat many levels. Also many levels are so long they start to feel boring. Also lacking an option to speed up the game like most TD games. Feels like it was designed to be free to play then switched to arcade. I want gems to buy permanent upgrades not one time use items.

My Favorite Kingdom Rush game!
It’s fun, creative and challenging -a must play.
I bought this game a when it came out (a few years ago) and got every achievement, most heroes and put in countless hours. This is a great, complete version that is well worth you time and attention:)

Best TD Game
This game is hard but as you learn how to strageties its quite a fulfilling game. Ive played this game for almost 10 years on iphone, and its by far the best balanced td game around. You might need to repeat levels as there are usually just a handful of tower combinations which will allow you to win. And most times its down to the wire on if your going to succeed or not.

Too hard :(
Super fun! I love the controllable hero dynamic! The animation is cute and really well done :) but it’s just too hard. Even with the strategy guide you have provided, I can’t get past Crimson Valley.
Maybe add an easier mode? Haha
Or maybe I should just get better at playing. But the fact that you aren’t rewarded exp when you die, only gems (or diamonds or whatever) makes losing very frustrating.
