App doesn’t work
The app hasn’t worked in over a day. When I open the app it gives the error: “App was unable to reach the server. Please verify that your device is not in airplane mode and has a working internet connection, then retry. -1200.” I’ve tried it on wifi and cellular and it just doesn’t load anymore. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app and nothing changes.Show lessFraulencolleen
Not good.
At first, I thought all of these reviews were being too harsh. The app worked decently well for me the first two weeks of school, and though it wasn’t perfect, it was definitely useful and easy to use. Nothing that could have warranted a 1-2 star review. However, just recently, I realized what all of these 1-2 star reviews were talking about. For the past four days, I’ve opened the app, a prompt has appeared saying “cannot connect to server”, and then… nothing. The app doesn’t reboot, it doesn’t try again, nothing. A lot of people rely on this app as their only way to get to school, it should 100% be maintained better. Giving two stars because when it actually works, it’s not that terrible.Show lessCade Blanco
Major improvement needed.
I recently moved to Gville and I've been using the bus system and this app to get around. Here's why I'm giving it one star:
For a beginner like myself, the bus and route tracking has been extremely confusing. The maps which supposedly help to "track" buses are often inaccurate. Aside from flaws in basic functionality, the app also crashes frequently. Sometimes an error message pops up as soon as I open it telling me I have an unstable internet (often not true) and the app doesn't load afterward. This glitch can often last for hours.
Another reviewer mentioned this already but it's an important point to reiterate: lots of people depend on the bus system and this app to move around. The bus system itself is somewhat simple so I don't understand how this app can be so disappointing, it's not like this is the London Underground with a million routes and stops. I hope the app undergoes a huge makeover soon, it's definitely in dire need of it.Show lessnot a paid actor ®
Crashes frequently, have to reinstall at least once daily
This app is the only option but is not usable. Requires attention from RTS. I have tried to provide private feedback but responses from RTS have not been useful in remedying issues.KaVi1005
It just stopped working
The app worked fine for a while. But now it’s telling me that I don’t have an internet connection to it. My other apps work fine. I even uninstalled and reinstalled but still got nothing.Tina McDuff.

I tried to give this app the benefit of being new, but it’s awful. So many people depend on it, but it’s never dependable itself. It’s constantly crashing, sometimes it helps to delete and redownload, but even that doesn’t work sometimes for days.Pvs.Zlover
Not accurate at all
I’ve been patient with the app being that it’s developed just for the Gainesville area, but after more than a year of dealing with it, there are so many issues that haven’t been addressed at all. These include:
- Buses do not update to tell accurate location enough
- Buses pop in and out of existence all the time
- Buses magically jump leaps and bounds often missing stops
- The ‘crowding’ system is a straight up lie and never accurately portrays the amount of people on the bus
- Stop times are determined by blissful ignorance at best
- The actual routes a bus takes is portrayed extremely messily
- The app is sooo slow
- If you misclick on the map you are going to get routes shown that you have no interest in
- Telling which direction the bus is going is a pain
- The bus icons are so large they often overlap when buses crowed in one area
- Colors showing which bus belongs to which route do not differentiate from eachother enough

App won’t load
App has been stuck in a loading screen for 3 days which is ridiculous. There’s no other apps that really work and they’ve taken the RTS Locator off the website to promote this app. I’m just supposed to sit and wait for an hour for a bus that might show up?cheyrenee1
Issues!!!
God! I have had to delete and reinstall it SO many times! It IS better than translock because you can save stops and don’t have to be by it to know when the bus is gone to be there but they NEED to fix it!!!Sea_Lady
Inaccurate, Slow, Laggy: And Google Works Better
For as much as I depend on the bus to get around, the app is bad at showing up to date information, such as modified bus routes due to construction, and at estimating the time that busses can be expected to arrive. While Google isn’t perfect, it’s vastly better at showing you what available routes are near you, and you can look at your location in real time so you know when to bail on your bus and start walking.Show lessAnyaTN
