Helpful App At A Difficult Time
I recently experienced a devastating bereavement and found my mental health suffered in many ways. I came across AIME and have found it of real help. The guided programs are excellent and the accessible way it works enables me to interact with it and gain benefit in a straightforward way. Multiple Approaches for Multiple Concerns
Mental health has become a core focus for many people and organisations. As a result, more help is out there so is there a need for another app? The answer here is yes! I’ve been using this app for a couple of weeks now and there are multiple approaches to helping me with my mental health. It’s well thought out, well laid out and easy to use.
I particularly like the notifications option, it’s easily to forget to check in with yourself when you’re busy.
Of most use for me is the guided journeys, which help pinpoint where problems exist and guide me through them and help me understand what is the root of my issues and in turn, how to address those issues.
The topics included are wide ranging and I’ve been using one for Couples which I did not expect to see. Whilst not all of it applied to me, so was immensely helpful as my relationship changes over time.
The audio feature is excellent, the narrator has a clear calm voice and it’s nice to listen to a person than just read from a screen. It becomes more personal to the user I think.
It’s still early days so I can’t add much more at the moment, the app is free so why not give it a go? You have nothing to lose and perhaps it might just help you understand yourself and your thoughts a little more clearly.
