  • Amazing App but it Self Censors which makes it feel like a toy rather than the powerful tool it is.

I would give it 5 stars except much of the art created throughout human history would prompt an error message if it was trying to be made with this app. It’s allergic to nudity which is ridiculous. I can’t even type in the word sexy without it crashing half the time. This is a powerful tool not a kids toy. Don’t restrict Peoples ability to create. Use the “nudy” sensor Censor for publishing but not creating. I’m not even trying to make anything dirty but We should be able to make art that is sexy 😹 I’ve only tried one other AI App and that one does not censor. Though I absolutely do love this App and the premium price is definitely worth it. Every style on the app too makes a huge difference in the way the program interprets your prompts which is different than the other program I use. So unlocking the premium styles is definitely worth it.

  • This USED to be really cool

Till they went to the Darkside. Now there’s a bunch of new “premium” filters they are only accessible if you are a pro member. And you don’t have access to things like dark mode. Plus! You get to watch a bunch of junky ads mixed in at random timing on nearly every single render pass you try. I used to have to do like 30 before I could tweak it right, that’s a lot of ads! And am I being cheap? Yes I am, because I’m poor. And once again, something that was wonderful that I used to brag to people to download, is another animated billboard with ads all over it. Very very disappointing. Guess I’ll have to move on and find my next diamond in the rough.. I’d be willing to pay a set price of some amount I mean even Procreate does that! But these sky high subscriptions are impossible, I can’t do them.. have fun, if you’ve got money to burn or time to kill…

  • Unfavorable Updates

This is my first time writing a review, so bear with me incase it doesn’t sound credible. I’ve been using this app for a while now, and it originally worked really well- the generator used to function smoothly and the style options were gorgeous. I don’t recall whether there was a premium option when I first downloaded, but now there is. I understand the app needs a way to earn some kind of revenue, but ever since the premium updates were added i’ve noticed the app not only works slower but also floods with ads. You can’t even generate a single creation without an ad, before you even get the chance to see what was made or even download the creation.
I think if the ads were spaced more timely and the generator didn’t load so slowly i had to exit and recreate, the app would be so much better.

  • From fun to crap due to greed

Ever downloaded one of those apps that was free and great, just to have the devs monetize it, which completely ruined the experience? Well this app is exactly that. It was a wonderful app to use until the devs decided to completely screw over their customers by nickel and diming them. In attempt to devs customers to needlessly spend 5 bucks a month to rent features on their app, they are locking new filters behind a paywall, artificially extending the load time for the mostly mediocre creations to finish, adding ads to every couple of art generations, and a huge notice at the bottom of your screen letting you know it will all get better if you just pay them money. It’s a joke. The app is a joke. The devs are a joke. You’re a joke if you pay 5 bucks a month to access previous features that used to be free, but aren’t any more simply out of greed. It’s something to use for fun, not for professional purposes. Paying that much is a ripoff. People should rally against this kind of exploration, but god forbid you inconvenience your immediate enjoyment for principles, right?

  • Fantastic app, but the recent update…

I loved this app. It was one of my favorite AI art generators, because it consistently produces interesting and aesthetically-pleasing results from the prompts I enter for it. But as of the last update, which introduced premium features, the app has become bogged down with ads and extended queue times for non-subscribers. I understand the delayed queues, as preference should rightly be given to those who pay for subscriptions. But the ads are so frequent and intrusive. It’s bad enough that it makes me question whether or not I’ll keep the app, especially since I’ve gotten access to a significantly more advanced AI generator’s beta.

I get that the developers need to make money, but the ads are just too much.

  • Visually pleasing results

It’s fun to try out different ideas. I really like that I can upload my own artwork and try out the many styles to see what comes out.
That being said I don’t think I will be using this in any of my finished pieces for sale. I make book covers. The some of the results with Dream by Wombo are interesting enough that sections of the images could be woven into my finished products. Unfortunately it would come across as unprofessional for me to ask to purchaser/ author to credit Wombo. Plus it would give the wrong impression if I’m putting 30 hours or more into the finished product and telling the author to credit someone else. There is just no way I can think of to make that reflect well on me. It would be better if the subscription negated the need to credit wombo, similar to the way I pay for other image assets I use in my work.

That being said, it’s definitely fun to weave into personal work.

  • Love it, but some suggestions

The art is amazing, the process is easy to use. It’s a wonderful and entertaining app. That being said, I have some suggestions for app mechanics I feel would improve the experience. First, there is no way to organize the artworks in my profile. I’d like to be able to group and separate certain artwork I see as similar or in a specific style. It would be easier when finding the art. Second, I’d like to be able to search the home page for certain people or published work. For those who don’t have and don’t intend to get the social networking apps connected with Dream, it would be a way to experience more. That’s all I feel this app is missing. It could maybe use a few more different styles, but I’d rather the before suggestions be taken into consideration before adding more styles. Thank you for your time.

  • Great app but,

This app is amazing. The photos turn out great. But I have some recommendations. There should be a feature which allows us to edit our work after we have posted it so you can add a name or change up the picture a little bit. I recently posted some work but I forgot to add names and if I want to add names I have to do everything over again so this would be very helpful. Also, there should be another feature where you can search up profiles to view more work from that artist. Sometimes I love work from a artist but can’t seem to search them on the app. Lastly, there should be a feature where you can add friends.

  • I do not normally write reviews, great app so far.

I honestly expected content locked behind pay walls and with ads everywhere, but this has been a wonderful experience I am quite impressed with this app if it remains how it is now and does not suddenly get locked behind pay walls this will be a new permanent addition to my phone, from my guess it is using key words to add matching photos to fill the lines of the photo you add while crossing it with multiple images and then adding filters to tie the entire thing together, if that is the case it is quite brilliant in design, well done.

  • Wow! I’m making art with words!

Dream is a good app if you are just tied and don’t have anything to do. With AI you can insert your own photo, choose a style, type something in to inspire the hart of the artwork, and also explore different styles and others art! Don’t know what to make? Just type in something random without a style or photo, tap “create”and watch the 🌟magic🌟 happen! If you really like your art you can make it your phone/iPad’s background! As well as purchase your own print of your art . In the top right corner you will see a button with a shopping cart on it followed by the words “buy print”, press it and then it will bring you to a site you can select the art works frame of style and then purchase it. This app is really fantastic and I love that it can just do all of this I’m definitely going to get on or art pieces purchased and hang the poster on my wall. Thi just wanted to say good job for making this app truly awesome 🤩! Thanks for the hard work and keep it up -truly loving this 🥀Keelin🥀-
