Small Suggestion
This does what I need for viewing my 401k balances. If they would join us in 2024 and add Face ID sign in, this would be 5 stars.
Access Denied
Trying to login to this app this morning and this pops up βAccess Deniedβ. It has been working for the past few weeks then this happensβ¦.what is going on?

Bad and gets worse with every update
The app is clunky and horrible and half the time you canβt even access your information. You would think that a company like nationwide could actually hire a developer to get this right.
No biometrics
Amazing that at the time of this review it still has a 3.8/5. Old app had face id and remembered your user name. This is basically the online website downloaded. If you log in its just as good as googling the website from your phone. At least there chrome remembers your user and password. App needs quality of life improvements. Badly.

Not Reliable
I frequently receive error messages. Nationwide requested that I delete and reinstall the app. Worked for 1 day. I use the web-based browser to access instead. The old app was good and I donβt see the need to create this split off from the main Nationwide app.

New nationwide real retirement app is terrible
This app is terrible .I keep having to remove the app and re-install it to get it to open every time I want to look at my account balance The old app was at least reliable I donβt usually reach out to do reviews but Iβm really frustrated My troubles are on an iOS device
Also freezes up and does not provide a way to go back- Hoping some better repairs and security can be implemented on this app . I keep getting an oops error message and even call the phone number as suggested in the error message-no one was able to help me
Since this is a financial app, it does not inspire confidence. Hoping your team will work to fix it

Awful
I was automatically enrolled into a 401k policy without my consent even though I waived the option to have a 401k here. I set my contributions to 0% and they still took money out of my paycheck. Definitely would not recommend to any friend or family member.
Clunky and doesnβt work half the time
This app is horrible and NOT an improvement over the old one. I havenβt even been able to get the app to work for a week. I thought maybe there was an update missing that was causing the problem, but no. Itβs just a crappy app.
Need to reinstall it every time I log in
I really miss when my retirement value was updated in Nationwide app? Why fix what isnβt broken? REALtirement app doesnβt remember login and password. No Face ID on iPhone. And now every time I run it I can log in once and then second time I try I log in on a different day I get an error that requires me to reinstall the app.

Practically Worthless
This is the most worthless app I use. I have to delete it and reinstall it just about every time I just simply want to check my balance. Nationwide has had several months to get this fixed, but itβs no better than when they first rolled it out. Extremely frustrating.
