  • Great! But not all works

The app is good for controlling the AC, but the temperature of the room is stuck to showing 55, even if it is hotter. And the number of how many watts is used does not work either, it just shows 0 watts even if it was used for awhile.
  • 100% Unreliable and Inaccurate

I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times but the app always shows that the current temp is 65 degrees. The AC itself shows a more accurate reading even though that’s also off by quite a bit. It at least updates though. Even though the app always reads 65 I can usually trigger the unit to start providing cooling if I set the temp low enough and don’t use eco mode. What a pain though.

  • Nice Support Team

I recently got an AC unit from this brand that I overall like, but it looks like there are potentially some issues with my unit. Despite this the support team has been very fast to respond and is very nice.
  • Best Window Unit I’ve Had and the Best App as Well

The app works exactly the way it's supposed to and so does the system it's controlling. The one thing I would ask for to push this review from four stars (it’s more like 4.5) to five stars is iOS shortcuts integration.
  • Needs Work

Temperature on the app is different from the room temp on the unit which does not accurately reflect the room temperature. All of these appeared to be in sync after initial setup, but there’s been a breakdown somehow between the app and the unit.

Also, why isn’t the option to turn off the light easier to access? This should be on the unit controls page.

  • Works sometimes but currently down

I can ping it, it shows connected to the router but the app still doesn’t work. I uninstalled, reinstalled still the same problem. In the app it lets me turn power on but it really doesn’t. Very frustrating because I need the automation settings to work.
  • Good AC but crappy app

I like the AC unit but unfortunately the app does not work properly.
The automation function does not work properly, and now can’t even control the fan speed and mode anymore. It just keeps reverting to Low speed and it’s a pain to deal with!!!
5/5 for the AC unit, 1/5 for App, so 3/5 combined.
Fix the app and it will be a great product.

  • App is very unreliable

I installed the windmill and liked the unit… until I started realizing it’s shortfalls. I decided to install the app and take advantage of the automations. Now, the device shuts off everyday and is completely unreliable. I remotely log on to the app to check the temp and sure enough- the AC is off and it’s hot. Almost every time. Why. And why do I need to change it to cool and 3 every time I turn the unit on. Why force me to press 5 buttons instead of one. Because of this I can’t use a smart plug to run automations since the windmill app is so unreliable. I would have been much better off buying a unit with a manual dial control- at least it would be reliable with a smart plug.

  • Glitchy - Does Not Read Temp

After using for three months, I would not recommend if you’re attempting to climate-control your place remotely. The app gets stuck at a certain room temperature and no amount of updates, reconfigurations, reinstallations will fix it. Mine has been stuck at 76* for weeks, while I sit next to the A/C and the readout is the actual room temperature. If I don’t know the real temp, I’m forced to just run it consistently all day (for the pets) so the electric bill has been absurd. Better to buy a basic AC that’s energy efficient.

  • Great in concept

Does it cool my room? Yes.
Is it a working air conditioner? Yes.
Did the app stop reading/working a month in? Yes.

Room temperature has been at 0°F for 2 weeks. However when you turn on the unit it’ll cool the room down. The readings are just wrong.
