  • Finally

Finally found the right AC. Midea is terrible. That was my last one. Installation was very hard. This was easy. 5 stars. And it blows cold air.
  • App is spotty, unit rattles

The a/c unit looks great and cools well. I have to tape the filter in place to keep it from rattling, though. The app and unit do not communicate well. For example, room temperature reading is stuck on 67 no matter what I try. Yes, I deleted and reinstalled. No support in app that I can find.
  • Next Level Stuff

nice design, love the app…. next level stuff
  • Frustrated

I have two windmill AC units. Found out after many emails with help desk that one unit works on old legacy app and the other on latest app.
This should be a disclaimer somewhere as part of instructions.
  • It’s OK

The manual controls are good. However, the automation interface is super confusing.
  • Doesnt work

Bought this AC specifically cause it had the iPhone app capabilities. It worked for a day and ever since it will not connect my app to the AC. When I click actions on the app it does nothing. I tried many things and I work in tech, so it’d not like I have no idea how an app works. Because of this I do not recommend the product or the app.

  • The best

Easy to install. great looking. quiet. good app support. My favorite: setting the temp I want on my home from work !
  • Leaky AC

Do not buy. Heavily leaks water. Will rot windowsill . Does not work well in high heat temps.
  • make it easier to reconfigure

my only complaint about the app is that my wifi service is spotty (i need to install a wifi extender) but it makes it so that my signal goes out often. i wish i didn’t have to go through 3 screens to reconfigure and get my windmill to connect back since this happens quite often. it’s just not very intuitive

  • They need to consolidate the two Apps

The dark blue app also shows outdoor details like temp, humidity and air quality. But this one has power usage monitoring. I have two units for my apartment, but had two use the two different apps. This one is nice but the other is better in my opinion. To bad you can’t choose which app you want to put your unit on, it literally is based on compatibility. I don’t understand why when the units look exactly the same you would have them supported by two different apps…maybe that is just me.
