  • Almost there

What drew me to the game is the gorgeous character design and art and the fact that the characters are based of myths. What a fun concept! The opening CG is alright, and the cutscenes are well done. The music is also amazing and I love the variety. It has a very friendly user interface and feels very smooth and finished. My only issue is the storyline. It’s weak at some parts and Brynn’s overuse of the word freakin doesn’t help. The writing gets super sophisticated when it gets to Drew’s parts which I know is meant to reflect the character but it feels a bit strange in contrast to the rest. I think the dialogue only parts kind of flow well but they are not finding the balance of giving enough information to the player to figure it out for themselves or basically laying the whole thing out in an info dump. The characters also do not have enough depth to me. The backstory unlocking as they’re leveled up is lengthy and doesn’t really show us who the characters us, just tells us. The font for the storyline also throws me off. Maybe a less script like font would help the serious tone. But the combat is very fun. It’s a good time passing game.

    TLDR:
The visuals, music, gameplay, and mechanics are great. My only issue is with the writing of the story.

  • A fun new toy!

I’ve only been playing few a few days and I’m having a good time. The music is funky and cool. Graphics are polished and and the art style is unique. Im super impressed with the character designs and animations♥️♥️♥️. So excited to see what they have in store for us in the future. Gameplay is simple to pickup with plenty of mini games and side quests to keep you interested. The story is kinda blah but it does a good job of not getting in the way of the gameplay. I have a gripe about the multi-battle system. You can speed up normal battle but multi-battle has no speed adjustment so it’s painfully show. You also can’t pick how many battles you want to do so you either have to wait until you run out of stamina (STAMINA SYSTEMS ARE THE WORST!!!) or sit a watch the slow battles to make sure you only play as many as you want. They let you go do other things in the app which is nice but you can get distracted while doing other stuff and spend more stamina then you intended. I almost took off 2 stars for the stamina system because it really ruins the enjoyment of a game when I want to play for 5 hours straight if I feel like it but can’t. But since it’s a new game is was generous because there’s so much other good stuff in the game.

  • Great content, simple and boring storyline

I was immediately interested in this game by its urban take on different mythologies and was hoping it would have a great interpretation of all the stories it borrows from and have a good design to the characters as well. The game so far delivers in character design, music, gameplay and interactivity in my opinion(although interactivity could use some work still) yet it doesn’t quite meet the story aspect, which is surprising to me. Perhaps, and I do hope I’m right, it’s far too early in the game for the story to really take off and maybe, just like other games(Honkai impact 3rd), this game's story will evolve with time. That’s my only real complain as of this moment and in my opinion the game itself makes up for the faults in the story. Another quick note to add is that while you definitely have to grind in this game I feel as if though this game brings out fun in trying to get stronger in comparison to others. Perhaps it’s easier or maybe there’s just so much you can do right from the beginning but this game truly rewards you for continuing to play and I enjoy that a lot. Tl:dr story needs work but the games is fun and very rewarding.

  • BEST MOBILE GAME EVER

So I gotta begin with the fighting, I love the turn based combat it’s fair and mean strategy which is really fun!! Okay and also the characters and their moves, I am was literally aw struck, the characters styles are amazing and their moves compliment them so well and there is so many cool characters to chose from. Also I gotta talk about the visuals of the game are beautiful, and I gotta say it’s better than most of the games I’ve played on mobile. Also there is so much story going on like back stories, side stories, and the main story which are all fun to read and watch. One last thing I gotta say is the best music I’ve heard in a while, it’s also just like a radio station, I wish that there was a real radio station like it, and the music makes you feel incredible while playing or just sitting in the Home Screen. The only thing I gotta say about the game that I dislike which is the game pass where of you buy with irl money and it gives you exclusive rewards for every level. Anyway besides the game pass, I’m very satisfied and can’t wait to see what these amazing creators will go with this beauty of game!!!

  • Not quite

The game is awesome and has a very refreshing take on these types of mobile turn based games. Theres plenty to do and lots of content right off the bat. Some people say that the games energy system runs out too quick. I disagree theres plenty of ways to ascertain more energy buy buying it with gold (which there is an abundance of) as well as trial rewards and login bonuses and the game pass. The pvp real time aspect is a neat touch and so is the DJ mini game. The campaign is challenge enough but not so far as to be unplayable. Character progression is a bit slow however especially after lvl 30 but thats okay the problem is that there isnt enough esper xp card drops and in only two rarities. Many other games have 3 or 4. The espairimon or whatever its called is a bit confusing at first with no clear cut explanation but i eventually understood its purpose. Relic drop for all varieties are also scarce. Ive been playing non stop and still have yet to complete the quest equip the complete adbiding (the extra healing one) set. The variety of characters is nice and similar to smite which i appreciate but ive gotten 7 bryns from the 10 spin and now have her at 6 purple stars but shes only lvl 37. (This goes back to a lack of esper xp cards). All in all the game is fun and refreshing but needs more work to be a five star game.

  • Good for people newer to turn based fighting games

I often feel as if turn based strategy games can be very hard to understand with too many rules and complications I barely know what I’m doing. But with character with more strategy based attacks they give you a tutorial on how to use it to your advantage. It also gives you as much time as you need to slow down and think of the best possible outcome which takes a lot of stress out of the process.
The character design is very unique and very inclusive. Not only are the gods and deities the Espers get power from stem from so many different cultures and parts of the world, the silhouettes of all the characters have variety and style I don’t see in other games. I’m a chubbier person and seeing the super cute girls with bigger body shapes makes me feel so seen. The diversity isn’t always a priority in games and it doesn’t always have to be, but this game finds its pride in reaching out where other games might not bother. The story is nice, I even like the main character, which sometimes the main character is so bland I don’t really care about them. But the main cast has good chemistry and I root for them.

I’m very excited for what this game will hold in the future. I hope to see it grow for years to come.

  • Fun & beautiful game

So far, I love the game. I have some problems with it though, one of them being the leveling material and gems. The gems are more balanced than the leveling material, it takes WAY too much to level up one character. I would recommend giving us just a tad bit more to help level our characters up. Now, gems, I think most the time they’re okay. 100 here and there helps, but if we’re going to have to spend so much for a ten times summon, increase the minimum gems given to 50. That way it’s a little more balanced than 20 here and there, which brings me to grinding. The game desperately needs some help. I don’t mind grinding every once in awhile, but I don’t want to log in four days in a row just to grind characters up so I can “hopefully” beat one more stage in the chapter.

The game has beautiful promise, the art is gorgeous, the music is great, and I love the 3D animations. I think with a bit of tweaking this game will be one of my favorites. I literally waited a full month for it, so I’m not deleting it unless the game developers do something crazy that ruins the game, aka pay to win. So far, thankfully, it’s not. I beg the game developers, I beg of you! DONT MAKE THIS PAY TO WIN! If you do, you WILL lose players, and it’ll be your own fault. Other than that I enjoy the game. I’ll see what happens in the further, my rate will probably change by then.

  • Aspects from other games, but better (so far)

This game has a lot of features from other games I like, but I think they really improved on them. I started playing summoner's war in the start of the 7th anniversary and I played for a year and I'm always going to be insanely behind people who started playing years earlier. This is a fresh start in a similar game, except it has features from other games I also like, for example X-Hero, and it has beautiful 3d visuals. The only thing I don't like so far is the story, everything is 3d except for the story which is 2d. Also, the story is not voiced over so it's chat bubbles. I would rate lower, and It's not that I don't care about storyline or game lore, but for a phone game I don't really care as much than I do about playing the game and all the other features they did so well. Although, I think they really missed an opportunity to get players more involved in their content rather than getting players because it's pretty and similar to other games they like. My favorite feature definitely has to be the 4* and 5* character pity, as well as the rune/relic level up pity. 120 summons for a gold feels like a bit much, I think 100 would be more fair, but having the guarantee at all though is a plus and not a minus.

  • Worth a shot

Coming from other games in the gacha space. So far I haven’t felt the need to keep up that comes with power creep. It’s too early to discuss balancing, but so far I’ve not once thought of spending additional money purely for the sake of efficiency. I don’t mind missing out on new character drops. The feeing of being penalized for not paying to progress is always a killer for me on these types of games. Dislyte doesn’t give me that impression thus far. The premise behind it is unique, I love that the characters embody figures from many different mythic pantheons. It’s a great concept. The soundtrack is unique, and the lean into music and the DJ asthetic/mini-games provide a break from the usual grind of other gachas. Great art combined with unique characters, with the ability to flesh out those characters as you progress and the ability to strategize turn-by-turn or just auto through depending on your preference. It’s a game that seems to have something for everyone. Community seems to be lively in chat and have thus far not seems any toxicity. It’s only a matter of time till the bad actors arrive. But thus far, Dislyte has become my go to gacha! I highly recommend giving it a shot.

  • Good game but they’re very stingy

I’ve played various gacha games and this game feels refreshing and different. The unique art style and gameplay bring a different look to the game. I’ve enjoyed it so far; however, the thing that is preventing me from giving it a 5 star is the fact that this game is no where near F2P friendly. It is made to force you pay to continue to play due to the lack of stamina it provides. The 4 expeditions alone already took up nearly 60 stamina. The summon rate is horrendous and they’re not giving out enough gold records for you to even have chance to sniff at a 5*. Yes, they do give you a free 5 * at the beginning of the game but you would have to play about 30 mins to be able to accumulate enough gold records to summon the 5*. That makes rerolling a pain. I just hope they’re not too stingy to the point where they’ll drive all the F2P players away. This game has great potentials but the developers are being just too greedy and eventually that might be their downfall. As of right now I don’t even have enough stamina to continue playing even though I have just started the game. With so much going on and things to do, you’re stamina gets depleted too fast. I guess I’ll just wait and see if things going to change in terms of the F2P aspect but in the meanwhile I’ll go back and play my other F2P friendly games seven moral sin X-tasy
