  • Good game needs a little work

The game is a fun addictive game. there are some things that would make it better.

1 I would like it if the game didn’t require internet because this game is the perfect game for me to play on my car travels.

2 It seems like to me there are ads every 20 seconds and my mom won’t let me get rid of them, so I would like it there wasn’t so many ads. There can still be ads but a little less of them would be good.

3 The cities feel bland. They would be better if they were unique. They could use different buildings in some cities for some nice taste and texture in the cities.

4 The game expenses escalate fast so I would like the upgrades or states to cost less and not go up so fast.

5 This game is awesome but it would be better if there was more land to drive to not just Canada, USA, Alaska, and Mexico.

6 Finally it would be nice if there was missions, daily challenges, different vehicles, truck stops, and gas stations. It could make the game more interesting.

I would be happy if just one of the things I said gets improved into the game. If at least one gets into the game I would rate this game 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

  • Great Game

This game is great, and I really enjoy it, but like any game, it has cons. My only real issue is the fact that it has so many ads. On top of that, it costs $10 to remove them. I understand it’s “the only way to support their game”, but making a little cheaper may be more beneficial for them. They also don’t have an idle income, as in while the app isn’t running, you don’t gain anything. So it forces you to watch these ads over and over again. I understand that they require to add advertisements for profit, but it becomes a nuisance after a while. Although they give you a great message telling you why there are that many ads. I really like the game, and the only reason I’m not rating it 5 stars is because of the ads. Great game, and I recommend it!

  • I love the game and concept but the ads make it unplayable

I understand that the game requires ad revenue but l literally spend more time watching ads than I do playing the game. I had an ad pop up and I watched it then walked to the next room (10 steps) and as soon as I walked through the doorway there was another ad. It would be nice if the ads were further apart, even just 2 minutes would be better than 30-45 seconds. Ads could also be tied to actions or something like that. I get 2-3 actions completed in the time I get to play between ads.

This game is super fun and the style of game I enjoy. I wish there was a way to purchase additional traffic the same way that speed, income, and experience are. Maybe tie income increases to city upgrades and have vehicles be an upgrade button.

  • Incessant ads

The game is fun enough but the ads for every 30 seconds of gameplay is really killing it. Ever since the latest update I can’t even play anymore. Connected two different roads to cities? Here’s an ad. Trying to find an odd road connection that requires taking a moment to move around the map? Ad. Looked up for five seconds to check on your kid? Look back down, we got you a present, it’s an ad. I get games having ads and the need for them to be slightly increased with small teams, that doesn’t bother me in the slightest, but this is ridiculous. The one redeeming quality that could have helped out would have been the ability to turn off my wifi and play offline but nope. Not an option. Game tells you you aren’t connected to the internet and you need to be connected to be able play. That’s only acceptable if there’s online features; even a leaderboard would be a good enough reason for me to not be enraged by that “oops looks like you need to connect to the internet” message that popped up. Not worth it to spend time “playing” between ads to even destress as its actively stressing me out more at this point 🙃

  • Don’t waste your time

So I just downloaded this game while stuck watching it for a commercial on cube block (one of my favorite games), went to open my newest game and guess what it won’t even open let alone do anything but say loading on a pain white screen it never showed the game name when I first opened it just straight to the blank white screen saying loading, I’ve tried to close and reopen it 3-4 times and the exact same thing happened. Not something that should of happened with a new game I just downloaded you would think but definitely not a great way to start unless you want a review like this about your games.

This game looked like it would’ve been something I’d have fun playing or at least checking it out but not anymore now it’s going to deleted and never redownloaded again, this is an awesome way to get people to talk about stupid games to never download or play hopefully that’s what you was really wanting to happen cuz that’s exactly what you got with me now is someone that will inform everyone I know about your stupid game so that they’ll never download it themselves

    Have a wonderful day

  • Short… Or So I Expected

This game is absolutely addicting, like really addicting. I downloaded it as something to play on the toilet but I roped me all the way in. However I wasn’t expecting to play it for all of one day and then not again.

The game makes it super easy to connect states/provinces which is nice so it doesn’t feel like a grind and there are A LOT of places to connect. When I did after maybe 6 hours of total play time, I was prompted to start “the next level.” This “level” is nothing new besides the fact that you’re not forced to start in Washington and instead you can pick wherever you so please. But overall very addicting.

    Some complaints however:

The ads are SUPER frequent and random so you’re just constantly getting ads. I was really having fun with the game but ads were a total mood killer. What’s even worse is how expensive it is to remove ads, $10. That’s absolutely ridiculous. I paid it anyway because idk maybe $10 to remove ads would come with a back rub or something… it didn’t.

    You also can’t build bridges.

And I mean yeah I’m not expecting to build a bridge from the lowest point of Mexico to Miami, Florida, but at least let me build one across the Gulf of California?? Like please???

Other than that really fun game

  • Surprisingly Addictive

This is a simple game, but I can’t put it down. And yet, I can’t bring myself to rate it any higher than three stars. For a geography-based game, they make some curious choices. I understand not being able to have a separate area for small states like Delaware or Rhode Island for space reasons, but why give Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to Wisconsin and not be able to connect it directly to the lower peninsula? And the currency system is way out of whack. You go from 150 coins to upgrade your first city to 69.9 octillion coins for your last. Yes, that’s a real number — basically a 7 followed by 27 zeros!? And as many other reviews have mentioned, the ads are ridiculous! (Sorry developers, I turned on Airplane mode to keep my sanity.) Plus, I’m not sure what replay value it will have if you just start over in North America once you finish connecting all your cities. The App Store previews show Europe, which would be nice. Hopefully future versions will eventually expand the playing field!

Update — with the latest update, the game now requires internet access, so no more Airplane mode. This renders the game virtually unplayable. There is no way I would pay what they are asking to get rid of ads; I would rather get rid of the game. It’s a shame, such a promising start ruined by greed.

  • Fun Game But Missed The Mark

It’s a fun idle game but what I noticed is missing is earning money when you are offline. Unless that unlocks later. Also I don’t usually complain about ads but this excessive!!! I am making a connection and I can’t even reach the other point before an ad hits and it’s every few seconds! Coke on. Either it’s being greedy or poorly designed. Limit ads to when we want to increase items like speed, income, or experience. This is just ridiculous with the amount of ads there are. This game has a lot of potential. Calm down with all the ads, make it so maybe you can upgrade different kind of vehicles that can earn more money, have some ways to earn some free easy money like logging in every time, definitely the offline money needs to be added because usually that’s standard in idle games

  • Fun game simple ads are annoying but I’m ok with it

I love this game just cause it something new and I just enjoy its simplicity and its has potential for those looking for a way to pass the time the only I could see people having a problem with is ads usually this would make me not want to play the game but the devs have their reasons to have them and if you can just buy no ads for ten dollars it’s a small team I presume and they have to pay the bills some how but at least the devs know the ads are annoying “we know the ads are annoying but it’s the only way to continue working on the game” not exact words but it’s understandable why the ads unlike most big companies cough playgendary cough otherwise fun game wonder if they will add new features to it can’t wait

  • Disaster

This “seemed” like a cute little time killer app, at first. There are major issues that need addressed ! First , I understand this is a small studio development, however the incessant ads are pervasive to say the least. So much so that the developers wrote a couple paragraphs that explain how they keep the development going on the app and even go so far as to say how annoying ads are, in the icon to remove ads. The low end quality of the app is in no way worth $9.99 to remove ads. My reason for this is the fact that there is no implementation of away earnings . Unless you have the app open and are actively playing , all earnings stop. What makes it even more pervasive with the ads, to the point I feel it’s engineered to encourage paying for ad removal, is that earnings while game is open stop every 15-20 seconds of while 30 second ads interrupt play. It’s aggressive marketing and aggressive pervasive ad placement , bordering on apple developer TOS for the platform. To be honest , ad revenue is not the only revenue available to even small studios . Try introducing a lower cost of ad removal, add in some in game content to purchase at a reasonable cost . Perhaps a coin purchase or a way to buy some keys to open additional territories . But at the current way the game runs , or fails to run from flooding of ads , I see this game , or any future apps failing to pick up momentum enough to be a success in this industry!

Hello there! In order for State Connect to keep being free-to-play, the game has to contain advertisements. Offline income is already in the game :) Currently, players can purchase Diamonds in the game's Shop. Diamonds can be spent to buy Coins, income boosters and cosmetics. We would be glad if you would give the game another try :)
