This man & his team have been so helpful for many years now. All I can say is thank you, it’s always been a pleasure to read their advice & watch this genuinely helpful caring man for years. Keep it up you brilliant team, you are very much appreciated by so many.

Helped me so much with remortgage in the current times, helped with all insurances and generally the first go to place for me, nice to have someone on our side for once. The middle people who struggle paying with no help or benefits but expect to continue paying extortionate rates is really unfair but the guidance your offer, to me, has been invaluable.

Totally independent advice always given, it is so refreshing to get honest, unbiased & no conflict of interest advise from Martin Lewis & his team, a true people’s champion John boy.

I have received a response from Stelantis/ Fiat Finance to my claim they are looking into it & they say they will be in touch , so just a case of waiting for the ombudsman report to reach its findings John Boy

Improving credit rating

I have a few 0% credit cards with balances I am paying off the minimum amounts for. I am putting away the money needed to pay them off into a savings account. This means my credit score is poor because it looks like I have a lot of debt. Is there a way to improve my credit score or do I have to wait until they are all paid off?

Hi, thanks for leaving a five star review! We have a guide on improving your credit score which should hopefully help you further. To find this in the app, go to the MSE tab, click on the magnifying glass and search 'improve your credit score' to bring up the guide.

Layman’s Financial Gospel

Great to finally have an app version of the website. My default app to find best rates and understand small print at a glance. Always explains financial jargon in understandable terms. Mortgage and broadband comparison tools are really handy. Has made me far more savvy with all aspects of my finances, thanks. Just needs a dark mode setting.

Whole new world

Have been using this app for a while now.
Since using it and taking on board the information to hand, it has opened a “whole new word” of financial independence.
It allows you to have so much more capacity in the use of capital available. It will save you a lot of time and money in researching for the best offers, as this app advises the best offers available that suits your score.

The new AI (Chat GBT) tool is an act of genius.

Great app - now even better.

It’s not often I review apps, but when I went into this app and discovered it’s new AI - Chat GBT variant - feature I couldn’t help but put a review. The app is great anyway, as a new homeowner (with a hefty mortgage taken out during an interest rate surge) I love to keep on top of my finances and appreciate MSE’s advice, guidance, calculators and tools.

Great app but…

This is a great app giving great advice on many things such as energy bills and savings accounts… however don’t waste your time emailing in about your money saving experiences, they just ignore you and don’t acknowledge you what so ever, now I don’t bother. If MSE saved you a million pounds over the year and you wrote an email to them explaining how great they’ve been they’d still ignore you.

Landscape view?

The app is good, but missing a trick without a landscape view. The text is very small on a cell phone and would benefit from the ability to turn the phone into landscape, increasing the size of the text -without having to pinch and scroll left to right.

About time, there was an app for these very helpful tips! Thank you money saving expert.
