Utility nightmares

Your information for Gas/Electric decisions is very helpful. Eon have at least given me full details for fixed & variable. Not sure they would have been quite so helpful without your input. Reckon I will stick with them… still to decide - fixed or variable🤔 Carol McGuire

Decided to stick with Eon next on variable for both contracts. I find them to be very helpful & reliable.

Issues with the browser forwarding

Love Martin Lewis but the app barely functions. All it does is forward open in a browser but then it’s getting stuck at the cloudflair level and never opens the page

Doesn’t seem to work when in the US

Opens a Safari page which is blank. App doesn’t do anything. Disappointed!

Site connection error

I keep getting thrown to the browser when it is checking if the site connection is secure (via cloudflare). Unusable currently.

Bugged for me

I would love to use this - big fan of the site. Unfortunately every time I try to load the home page - or any page - I get a cloudflare “checking the security” of your connection screen, which then opens a browser window that is blank and does nothing. Back to the app, same problem on loop.

So I can’t see any content and the app is useless to me. Would love to re-review if this is fixed.

(Might be an issue with me using Apple’s secure features - proxy, etc - haven’t tested. But I shouldn’t need to downgrade my security just to view a website.)

Could be great if it worked

Avid MSE user here, love the website. But I can’t use the app to it’s full potential as I am not getting my email verification for the credit club. I have tried pretty much every day for a month now and have never received said email. I have googled this and it is a known issue (going off forum posts) but they don’t seem to care. I have also sent a few emails to customer services and again, have never got a response. My emails work fine for everyone else so why not MSE?

Edit: developer got back to me asking to email them. 2 emails later still no response. What a joke! Review downgraded to 2 stars.

We respond to all emails sent to our Credit Club inbox, so if you could please email CreditClub@moneysavingexpert.com we can take a look as to whether these emails are suppressed to your address. Very Grateful

I am so grateful to Martin Lewis and his team at MSE. They take the stress out of finding the most economical deals which saves consumers a lot of time and money. I value the opinions shared with the consumers and know they are doing their best to help people be financially savvy with their daily bills.
I only have praise and glad I now have signed up for the MSE App. On my first read I have already picked up a good tip for a sim mobile renewal.

My first time using the app instead of the website and it worked perfectly and gave me the information I needed. I've used the website and had emailed from the service for a few years now and always been very helpful.

Always our go to whenever we need to find out about savings, bills and really helpful tips to save us money. Especially as we are older and less technical than the younger generation we find getting the correct information much harder.

Long overdue. Apps work so much better than a browser on a mobile platform.
Note, you have to re register as your existing login won’t be recognised. Not a big one but should be pointed out on the login/register page.
5* for now, let’s see after more use.
