Has a lot of promise

This game is promising. The designs and graphics are perfect and really fit the mood of the game. However, the controls a bit finicky. Hopefully that will be resolved soon. Great game.

Very good Souls Like

The art style is very nice in this game, controls are simple and quick to get used to, leveling system like souls games. I really enjoyed the first level and instantly bought the rest of the game. Hope to see updates in the future!

Be warned you need space at least 2gb free space

I had a problem with my storage just full or 1 gb free. It would leave me stuck without a menu. Once I removed enough apps to free up 2 gb, the game finally loads after reinstalling it.(maybe I just didn’t have enough space while downloading)

Anyways if you are a dark souls player, you will love this!! Once I saw the big monsters I knew.. dark souls type of game. Game play is really smooth, I would recommend the game developer allow us to customize/move the touch controls as the move left to right is very tiny, even on an iPhone 11 Pro Max screen.

Other than that, take my money sir! Thank u for the game!

Try disabling the “Small Buttons” option in System/Controls if it’s enabled.

Reminded me of Elden ring

I had fun but then 8$ pay popped up now i just dont wanna play anymore

Fantastic 2D side-scroller ARPG!

Ai, Ive been playing for around 5 hours now, the games plays so smoothly on my iphone11 with the backbone controller. Not a single crash, loading screen or slowdown.

This might not speak to everyone, but please indulge me. Grimvalor is my favourite sides roller action rpg. Watcher Chronicles feels like a slower version of Grimvalor, but with a block option, and many many more weapon types.

Wasn’t a fan of the art style at first (made me think of the old flash games we were playing on school computers) but, not gonna lie, it grew on me.

Good job, bravo, congrats to the dev who made it. Its a real game, buy once and done (no iaps) full of challenging content for you to git gud at :)

Excellent work!

I’ve only played the crypt section so far but I felt like this game was an excellent 2D souls-like with very intuitive touch controls. Found out about it from a Reddit post and just wanted to say great work!

Major potential

I played through the free area of the game, and to my surprise, it wasn’t bad. Already off on the right foot compared to most games on the App Store claiming to be a souls-like. The controls felt a little clunky, but judging by the multiplayer section I’m assuming the game is meant to be played on controller; which I imagine would feel much better. The style of the game is great, and the combat is surprisingly enjoyable. I would love to rate this game higher, but I don’t think I can give it higher than 3 stars if I can’t justify paying for it. I really enjoyed what I played, but I definitely didn’t see enough to want to pay $8 when I was done. That doesn’t mean the game isn’t worth $8, and if the free section had been longer it is very possible that I would have changed my mind. However with what I had access to, I don’t think I would’ve been willing to pay more than $3. Either way, awesome to see a souls like on mobile with some heart in it. I hope to one day be willing to pay what the developers ask, but for now this is all I have to say.

I really enjoy it just wish it was either premium up front or a Free to play.

It’s seriously fun, I’ll most likely get the full version depending on further play. However downloading it just to see it’s a trial game was kind of spotty. I advise to make the fact it’s a premium game more up-front.

Response from developer

It’s mentioned in the description but I’ll be sure to move this to the top. Thanks.
