Doesn’t Sync Across Devices
This app STILL doesn’t sync in the background - meaning if you use the share sheet to save a video you must remember to then manually open the app on that same device or the video will never show on other devices. You should be able to just save from one device and launch the app on another device to see an up-to-date queue.
Also, this version isn’t syncing the queue properly now either. I have unwatched videos on one device that doesn’t match my other devices.Show lessPaladinTom

There are better apps that allow user to copy links back out in bulk which act more like a bookmark manager with video preview thumbnail, raindrop is one example, so why would I use this? Also unlike raindrop I can’t save TikTok links so why would I import hundreds of links with no quick means of getting them back out? dev made sure to make it difficult which is why i refuse to use these type of trap door apps.Show lessMy first ever review 2

You are wrong about the inability to extract links out of Play. The app gives complete access to its database via Shortcuts, with several different actions. One of them is Find Video, which you can use to access any video attribute, including the URL, and use it to extract everything to a text file, for example.Leaves litter behind
I like this app and use it to manage my playlists but for some reason it leaves instances of itself in my background processes. At one point I had 15 versions of the app running in the background in app switcher. Also it’s developed a tendency to not respond to touch after using it to launch 5-6 videos and I have to basically reboot it. Otherwise solid.Show lessLOONA_DES

This app fits the way I often save videos to watch later *perfectly.* I find stuff around the web during my day-to-day, want to save it somewhere, then watch a lot of it on my Apple TV while on lunch or in the evening. I save stuff to Play from the share sheet, turn on my Apple TV, and all these links are just there immediately. 👨🏻🍳’s 💋 Play rules, get it!Show lessDavid Chartier

Great idea and user experience, but not indispensable.
This is a great idea, however the process of constantly having to come back to your “Play app” and add new videos gets tiring and I find myself no longer using your “Play app”…
Do you think you (or you team) could add a feature where we have the option to have videos added automatically? Like an RSS feed, but from specific YouTube channels only. And we could just go to the [ #Tag ] on your app and find all the videos from channels we want, like categories.

There’s an Apple TV app!
I love Play, it’s easy to use and a better way to manage videos. I love being able to kick back and use the Apple TV app to launch YouTube videos!sandwichlegend
Not what I expected
I thought I could use this app to manage my Watch Later playlist from YouTube. Unfortunately, that feature seems to have been removed from the app.
I tried for a week or so to use this as an alternative to the YouTube Watch Later playlist and store my list inside this app. The workflow of using the share sheet to add videos and then bouncing between the YouTube app and this app just didn’t work well for me. The app is well made and has a very native feel, so I feel like it deserves at least a middle rating. The workflow just isn’t great.Show lessBenJetson
