Why can’t I adjust the schedule without being limited on temperature?
App needs serious improvement! My ecobee was infinitely better and Amana system won’t let me use that… has to be better than this!!

Hi there! Thermostats that communicate with inverter systems are not allowed an Energy Star rating by the EPA, even though the true energy savings are real and well- documented. EPA continues to rate thermostats based on how much system run time they can decrease, and that is the opposite of how inverter systems operate. We continue to negotiate with the EPA to correct this so that thermostats that controls Inverter systems can receive the Energy Star rating. Geofence feature has a fatal flaw
If I have the geofence feature turned on and I leave the house to run to the store (or worse if I leave on an extended trip) then the geofence detects that I am away and turns the HVAC to AWAY. If my wife remains at home, obviously she needs the HVAC to remain in the At Home setting. This is not a very smart app.
Please fix this app to detect when multiple household members are away and only switch to AWAY when all household members are detected outside of the geofence range.
If I am missing something here, then please update your app’s documentation to state clearly how this situation can be avoided and resolved. I am an app developer myself so I think I know where to look for this kind of thing.
