  • Love Shokz

When my wife first suggested I try her first pair, I was initially skeptical but, ever since that first use, I’ve been a huge fan! I have purchased 4 different sets of Shokz over the years, with only one pair actually going kaput on me. My original pair still work just fine, pair #2 openrun, pair #3 opencomm, and now my 4th pair, openfit.
The power/volume up button recently broke on Pair #2 after about three years of at least 15 hours of use every day. Not sad or upset about it, they worked well right up to the very end.
I love the openrun model because it’s so sleek that I can sleep in them with little issue. Obviously opencomm you wouldn’t use for sleeping. The openfit, I tried for the first time last night and they faired well too! Although, one of them popped off my ear while sleeping on my side.

    Why do I love Shokz?
Frankly, it’s the fact I can be on calls, listen to music, podcasts, do my babble lessons, etc., and still maintain my critically important situational awareness at all times. Whether I’m in the city or the woods, i can enjoy music, talk to my friends or family, or learn a new language and still have my head on a swivel.
So yeah, you could say I’m a big fan!

  • Truly fantastic for running and teams calls

Bought our original set at a sporting event (Ragnar), after hearing amazing things, it’s a relay race where you’re running in the wilderness sometimes by yourself and sometimes in the middle of the night, so the bone conducting headphones were appealing for safety reasons. They provided fantastic audio and stayed put even on treacherous terrain, sweat, and sprinkling rain! When I got home, learned that we could pair them to multiple devices which made us all fight over the one pair! We now each have our own pair and we’ve tried three kinds. They are absolutely perfect and we can even use them on a day to day for Microsoft teams meetings, gardening, training, etc. we absolutely love them!

  • Open road pro is a nice headset

These are a nice set of headphones for the office. I like how I can connect to my work PC and work cell phone at the same time. The open ear allows me to have conversations with other people without removing the headset. They are very comfortable to wear all day and have great battery life. I think the audio quality is good at this price point.

I would like to have a bit smaller loop around the back of my neck. It will sometimes get caught up in a hoodie or jacket collar. The only real issues I have, it will not automatically reconnect to my PC or phone. Several times a day I need to leave my desk and when I’m back in range of the Bluetooth they won’t automatically reconnect. Most of the time I can reconnect to my PC through the app but, when I forget my phone at my desk it won’t reconnect at all. The app won’t recognize them and the only way to get it to reconnect is to power cycle the headphones.

Overall, they are a good headset that are very comfortable, good sound, and long battery life. I would and have recommend these to friends and family.

  • Review after using for 3 months

I am 54 yrs old female, and I use strictly for talking on the phone answering and listening. I do not play music, I use these for work, in my office and out in the field. So far the Shocks are the best that I have found for using them with my Apple I-phone 13, that do not connect around the back of my head. I like that they are independent of each other and I don’t have to have them both in my ears, I can use left or the right independently. The connection is pretty good, (could be a tad better, but not complaining) once in a while I might drop a call. I’m not hard of hearing so I can clearly hear the person on the other end. I like that it does not sit directly in ear. The case is convenient, could be a littler smaller for pockets. The only thing that is a negative is I do have an Apple Watch, that has its own line. The Shocks app does not work independently with my Apple Watch so in order for me to use the Shokz I do have to have my phone in radius.

  • Love my Open Fits

My wife has had two pair of open run and I liked those but they caused me a headache when f wearing at work all day long. (We use wireless coms at work.) But I love the compact size and long battery life of these little but powerful ear buds. I can even wear them on my motorcycle. Sometimes I don’t wear a helmet and they still fell secure up to around 50 mph! I have been up to 70 mph for a few miles but they didn’t feel as secure at that speed. Battery last all day and they become so comfortable that I don’t even realize I’m wearing them until my wife makes fun of me after I get home! I don’t listen to music so can’t speak to bass and what not but Podcast and Audible plays well and voice calls are clear. I can even talk in low tones when needed and still be heard very clear, or so I’m told. The case been good for at least 3-4 full charges before I charged. That’s all I can think to say after having for about 4 months now, super satisfied!

  • Enjoying

I’ve had them for about a month now. I basically use them for podcast when I’m running or even doing house work. I was worried about the fit with my hat and sun glasses but the design is great. I also worried about them possibly falling off because they didn’t feel snug. They don’t budge a bit! Super light, can’t even really feel them. When I have them on and I’m not listening to something. For example if my podcast ended. I sometimes double check they’re still there. They don’t move. I haven’t taken time to figure out controls for volume or answering calls yet but I’ll get there.

  • The best on the market.

I have owned several head sets and sets of earphones. These by far have been the most comfortable and easy to use. They have the best transparency as there is nothing in your ear to block noises. These work well and don’t irritate my ears or skin like previous other brand products have. They are affordable and hold charge better than any other headset I have used. I work around heavy equipment every day and these have been amazing. The mic provided in this head set has been great. I have had no complaints of the clarity of my voice from the receiving end of callers. I would highly recommend these to any and everyone. They even work well in applications where ear plugs are required for noise cancellation. Even with equipment running in the background people I call can clearly hear my voice without all of the background noise drowning me out.

  • A Game-changer!

It has been almost 8 months since purchase and have no regrets. The sound quality is sufficiently balanced with the practicality. Love that it’s lightweight yet durable titanium band helps which helps them from falling off or losing the device altogether like I would have with earbuds and is comfortable to wear. I was drawn to the bone conduction device primarily for the “lose-proof” factor, to be able to answer calls on the move, and worry-free work outs from the device falling off. I was not expecting top-notch sound quality, however, the volume and sound is quite good for day to day tasks. Fully charged, the device lasts me a full day of usage with no issues. The only drawback if I had to state is that the magnetic charger is proprietary so you may consider buying an extra down the line. I would not hesitate to recommend the Shokz OpenRun Pro whatsoever!

  • Great headset but I need to learn the non-intuitive controls

These Shokz are great little earbuds and I love that you can hear ambient noises in a room while also, wearing your earbuds and listening to music or talking on the phone. The only issue I have is I can never remember how to use the controls. They are not very intuitive, and I have trouble answering the phone and hanging it up as well. A physical button, like on the other models, would be very helpful. Otherwise, I think they’re great! I think, for my next set of Shokz, I’ll have to try the one with the extendable microphone.

  • Excellent headset all around

I hate earbuds with a passion; they never fit my ears. I’ve also had very bad luck with bluetooth devices and flaky connectivity for years. My OpenFits have solved both issues. The open design and light weight allow me to comfortably wear them for hours while training or driving. Bluetooth has been easy to connect and repeatable even in multi-point mode. Sound quality is very good and I have no problems being understood in phone calls. Excellent all around.
