FANTASTIC PURCHASE
I am so pleased that I purchased my Shokz Open Air Mini headset. They have performed beyond my expectations. The quality of construction is apparent immediately. Being a Quality Assurance Manager in manufacturing I am struck by the attention to detail.
The added benefit of being able to pair multiple devices has been a Wonderful surprise. I pair both my phone and tablet and I am able to get Every notification of email and text even while out on the noisy manufacturing floor. The battery life is phenomenal. Multiple days between charges even with both devices paired. 5 stars, NO! 10 Stars All the Way!Show lessBVatter
Use the custom EQ settings
I really enjoy the OpenFit. I am normally an OpenRun Pro wearer, but I typically only used those for calls. They work great, but the vibration of the OpenRun gets to me when listening to music or podcasts for hours. The OpenFit solves these issues for me. I have total awareness of my surroundings, and now get to listen to podcasts, music, whatever I want with no issues. Again…I love the OpenRun, and I’m guessing the bone conduction vibration issues where mine alone, it’s just great to have something that solves all my problems. The one thing that I think they need to improve on is the preprogrammed EQ settings for VOICE, MUSIC, Bass Boost, etc. These programs didn’t work for me. I was happy that i was able to set up custom EQ settings and this solved everything.Show lessWwwwwwtyyiubvredvju
Open Run Pro
I’ve been pleasantly surprised at the audio quality and ease of use of the open run pro headphones. I’m an avid cyclist and these are absolutely perfect for that use. I’ve also been noticing many others using these on the road.
I did have a problem with one of the transducers failing but Shokz quickly sent me a replacement without any drama. I greatly appreciate a company that stands behind their product and demonstrates a commitment to customer serviceShow lessM in B

This openpro mini is a game changer!
1. Nothing to fall off ever
2. Can wear all day and no ear irritation
3. You are actually enjoying tunes and doing other activities concurrently….and only you know it!!
4. I run 10 miles a day,in the city, and be aware of sounds( cars/dogs/ sirens sounds/ car horns,etc) AND be jamming to my tunes or audiobook.
5. Battery life is 9 hours……perfect
6. The SHOKZ app allows both EQ- voice and bass. Great EQ. not to tinny sound or All bass. It’s a great blend and easy to change.
7. The unit color I prefer is black. It is not overpowering and barely noticeable to others.
The honest negatives:
1. The cord is very short can get lost. I twisted it to my other cords-no longer a issue.
2. Friends will TRY your unit and will BEG you to give yours to them!!!!Show lessTaz the runner

I, like them much better than open run and open air; in particular, when I sleep, on my back: there’s nothing hindering them from staying on.
What I would like to see, is more options for control; I would like to be able to adjust my volume, change the song, as well as press, play, like the previous products design; I hope I can exchange my OpenFit when they finally do some upgrades.

For me, working out (gym or outdoors) is very important. The sweat has been bothering the music experience with every single headphones I had (Bose, AirPods, etc.)… until now. Now I can focus on my exercises without dwelling on adjusting my music around my ears. This Shocks Pro is the bomb!! It stays in place and allows me to be aware of my surroundings.

If you have anything other than OpenRun Pro or OpenFit you are wasting your time. My OpenRun headset is great but if you can’t do anything with this app then it’s useless.
In response to this review they responded that they are always trying to improve their app and then reiterate that it is only compatible with two of the many devices under the aftershokz logo as if they updated the app and took away the older models of headsets. Bad business. You don’t restrict your clients, you add more clients. Their idea of what or who to cater to is simplified by making YOU buy more expensive headsets and in today’s economy that’s just asking for too much in my opinion.Show lesstoodamgoofy

I am very active and have had every type of “headset” that has hit the market and after buying the AfterShokz Pro set I feel I am done looking. Since I got mine at least 6 people where I work have purchased AfterShokz Pro. I actually got mine by asking a guy I worked with how he liked his. He had the standard AfterShokz. Went on my first run with openfits. Tried to double tap to skip track but the volume started to increase uncontrolled. I have them set to double tap to next track and press to hold to increase volume. After I start sweating, touch controls became erratic. Or sometimes it skip track and sometimes it just crank up the volume control. I have the open run minis and they seem to be much more reliable in the controls. One running in your hands are sweaty, had a sweaty, etc. I would say about 20% of the time to touch controls would work 80% of the time it would not work as expected.Show lessGbugler

We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. Long press to set to adjust volume (music). Hold down 2.5s for a long press. Keep holding down and adjust the volume every 1s. At the same time, you can hear a "beep" prompt. When the volume is turned up to maximum or minimum, you will hear a "du" .Sweat during operation will affect the sensitivity of your contact with the headset. It is recommended that you wipe the sweat off when you touch the control, so that you can better operate it. We'll keep going on producing more customer-satisfied headphones. I’ve had these for few weeks today is July 3, 2023 and I pretty much more days all day for about 80% of the time they are comfortable and can hear really well if it is loud out probably not I can hear when mowing with a new quiet mower if I use on my rider no you won’t unless you put on earmuffs over them when you were mowing on your rider which I do anyways over all likeShow lessShokz open ear
