  • As someone who is hearing impaired (completely deaf I the left ear)

As someone who is hearing impaired (completely deaf in the left ear), this app truly falls short.
One would expect that a company that makes conductive listening devices might take into consideration that their user base may have needs beyond the norm. I need to be able to adjust the right earbud and balance the sound quality so that it serves my limited hearing range.
When I tried the Shokz from the acoustically controlled display in the store, the sound quality was much better than what I am receiving from my devices.
We immediately purchased the Open Run Pro minis, only to find that they didn’t fit and still slid off my growing in chemo hair. The OpenFit style is working much better for my needs, if only I could adjust the balance a bit.

Thank you very much for supporting our products! Sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with our product. The acoustically controlled display in the store adjusts the EQ, which will make the sound quality better. You can also adjust EQ in app to make the sound quality better. • Open run pro opinion

Love them, and they do exactly what I bought them for. I can ride my bike and feel safe. I hear all the cars the sound does go down a little, but hey that’s why I bought them! The one thing that I really like the most is when I ride back roads I can still hear all of mother natures sounds plus my music it really is joy. Only downside for me is I wish they were just a touch louder. Perfect for what they were designed for would buy again, and recommend.

  • Basic but necessary

If you have the Open Pro version of boneless headphones I recommend downloading this app. I don’t think it is absolutely necessary to have the app to change certain settings on your openrun pros but it does make it easier and allows you to look at the settings and know which ones are selected without having to go through your openrun pro buttons changing things just so you can hear which setting is selected. The one thing it is absolutely necessary for that you can not do on your openrun pros is find out exactly how much battery you have left. The ORpros will tell you High,Medium, or Low when it turns on which indicates how much battery charge is remaining. Yet, the app will give you a % of battery left. Try it out you can always delete it if you do not like the app. Oh, make sure you register the ORpros on the app so you will have a record of your serial number and be covered under warranty. Have a great day and I hope you enjoy your Openrun pros as much as my fiancé and I enjoy ours. Did you know that they make the openrun pros in a mini size?? I have a big head and the minis fit nicely on my head. I almost bought them but since I wear a hard hat daily (which has a strap pressed against the back of my head) I purchased the regular size. Need to do a test fit if possible though because you might really like the minis. I know my fiancés pea head sure appreciates the fact that I bought her the minis.

  • I love my Openrun Pro headphones!

So glad I found Shokz open ear bone conduction technology. In ear headphones simply don’t work for me partly because I hate having something stuffed in my ears and partly because they won’t stay put…every time I turn my head they simply fall out. Not so with the Shokz which stay put no matter what I’m doing. They are light and comfortable to wear even for long periods of time. The sound quality and volume is great while being able to connect wirelessly to my devices is incredibly liberating. So long as I am within Bluetooth range, I can do whatever with both hands free all the while remaining situationally aware of what is going on around me. Making and receiving phone calls is a breeze. I can hear incoming callers clearly and they say they can hear me perfectly. Battery life is more than adequate…I have never fallen below medium even after all day usage. The batteries charge incredibly fast.

I have had my Shokz for about a month and am still finding new ways they are making life easier. Five stars!

  • New Shokz Pro owner

    My first bone-conduction unit!
Prior units were either too bulky or had poor audio quality. I was never completely satisfied with various earbuds, including Apple.
Had this for a week now: very satisfied, using on a daily basis. I’ve been noticing others with this unit + they’re all happy with them!
Very good audio quality, and leaves your ears available for “situational awareness,” a very big plus for me. Comfortable + a single charge last all day for me. Good audio with cell phone calls, callers don’t report any difficulty understanding me.
Only drawback has been intermittent difficulty w/ Bluetooth pairing with iPhone + vehicle (Porsche Cayenne).
    Recommend!

  • Finally, a device I can live with!

I spend most of every day in front of a computer, on Teams or phone calls. In-ear devices never stay in my ears, and hurt after a while. I’ve tried various over-ear headphones, and even the best begin to hurt after a few hours of use. My Shokz headset is so unobtrusive that I often forget that I have them on my head. I seldom listen to music, but when I do, I find them fully adequate. If I really want to hear better fidelity, I’ll don a pair of headphones or put some power into more serious speakers. But for business use and phone conversations without blocking external sounds, I find Shokz to be perfect! I can make it through a full working day on one charge, but the fast charge option is so good, that it’s not a big deal, if I do need to recharge them. I bought a pair for my 30-something daughter who has hearing loss in one ear, and they work fantastic for her! I’m going to buy a third pair so that my wife can enjoy them while on her peloton.

  • Gotta have one!

Working in and around an environment with safety concerns including traffic and other potential issues where you need to be aware of your surroundings, you can communicate with your team (or listen to your favorite musical selections) while maintaining your wellbeing.
Ok, so the music quality (base response) isn’t as good as your I-buds or a good pair of noise reduction headphones, but it’s better than being flattened by the bulldozer that you didn’t hear - and on the other hand, you can wear your safety earplugs in a noisy environment- and still communicate with your team on your phone with these!

  • Excellent System

Shokz Pro are the best investment I have made. They are comfortable and can hear the music with clarity. Base is ok I you consider speakers are not inside your ear. Battery is good. I charge them every morning, start using them at 6AM and take them off around 8 PM. The only thing I don’t like is the vibration that sometimes occur where there is heavy base. It is annoying. I used to have AirPods Pro and gave them away. I lost the gimmicky Siri announcements but that is not essential. Conversations are even better, can hear and participate without a problem (don’t expect to hear if the volume is loud). If you acquire the Skoks you will enjoy them!

  • Great product

These are excellent when you need to maintain situational awareness and want to hear podcasts and music. I am providing care for my terminally ill parent and this device allows me to be responsive to their needs as well as being able to listen to content knowing I will be able to hear them if they need me.

  • They’re alright maybe wouldn’t pay 180 for them (openrun pro)

The sounds good however the fit has Much to be wanted just like in ear headphones they start to hurt after a while though it takes longer to become uncomfortable also the battery life is not as advertised instead of the 10 hours that they say you get you might only get 7-8 if you use the side button to skip songs and pause or play as this drains battery significantly. Over all they are alright not anything amazing but they certainly do the job.
