  • Decent but too easy and too much going on

I’ve played through the first dozen levels and they feel too easy, I’ve never dropped below half health, IMO the red missiles are too slow. I also think there’s too many features at once, e.g. jetpack cores, factory, lunar event.
I’d also love to see the endless mode unlock earlier on.

Thanks for the feedback, we'll be sure to keep this in mind as we work on future updates.
  • Unfair, makes the game too frustrating.

So I unlocked arcade mode and had an achievement to get 80,000 points on a game. That fruit ninja game is pretty much a roll of the dice if you will do well. Every single time I’d get in the 70,000s and run out of time. Almost every game I’d get one maybe 2 clocks I could try get it honestly feels impossible. Some games I’ll get one bomb and others they will throw 5 at the same time which will instakill you, how is this fun? I was getting very good at controlling it and getting the fruit but still I failed. I play games to relax not to get mad because the game is based on chance. If it were skill based it would be fine. Why not make it so you get the same amount of clocks and bombs each level? Why make it completely random?

  • Good Game but

Overall a good game, great cartoony graphics and easy to pick up and play gameplay and controls, as in straightforward gameplay and controls which actually goes a long way these days, the problem I have encountered may seem insignificant to some but it does for me demote this game from a great game to a good game and even possibly to an uninstalled game, for me anyway, as this has done for a good few games on the Apple Arcade roster, like I said for me anyway, the problem is and maybe this is a default setting on many Apple Arcade games, but for me it is a problem, which is the cursor, it stays on the screen even when your playing the game/in gameplay mode/action mode whatever you want to call it, there it is, the cursor refusing to leave the screen in its entirity, this is irritating and distracting to me, especially when playing a fast paced shooting action game like Jetpack Joyride, frankly this is irritating and distracting in any game other than a mouse clicking type game which Im not really playing at the moment, I can name several titles where this problem occurs including Pacman, Tetris Beat and more all where the cursor refuses to dissolve away into the background while in gameplay mode, Ive uninstalled many because of this, whats the deal?! Is there a way around this? Or am I going to have to continue uninstalling these inflicked titles?! As it stands this is such a shame to be uninstalling games because of this! Please help!

  • Fun but not long enough.

    To the developers.
The game itself is very enjoyable and really fun in the beginning. It even gets tougher as time goes on, but many of the skins are unavailable if you downloaded and played it after certain events have already passed. Then you cannot get at least 6 Barry skins as well as the girl skins. They aren’t available to purchase via jewels either. One you pass the 5th prestige, it’s done and I assume those skins cannot be obtained.
Also, on several of the arcade challenges, the boomerang and bombs are off by several mm. The boomerang can go straight through a heart and it’s a miss. You can also miss a bomb by 2-3mm and it still explodes no matter what angle or how straight you look at the screen.
That should tell you how much I liked the improved graphics as well as how much I enjoyed the game. Still 4 out of 5 stars.
It appears that this game is the hook, and the goal is even though I pay the premium for Apple Arcade, the goal is to make customers on the pay game and give up the one the premium charge is supposed to cover.
So developers, thanks for the improvements and the great entertainment from the game.
Shame on Apple for not continuing to help the developers extend the game to that of its other game with multiple fees on top of the Apple Arcade fees.

  • No playtesting?

Who playtested the challenges, not only is it legitimately unplayable but it is all randomized so in most play-trough it is simply impossible. How is this game even supposed to be at the very least enjoyable. I know who the developer of this game is and I know for sure. Please make this dumb subscription that is Apple Arcade a little more worth it.

  • Better

Not sure why my reviews keep getting removed. In any case, they took my last criticism about the pumpkin jetpack damaging enemies and knocking over scientists but not registering and instead of fixing it to recognize the knockdowns, they removed it’s ability to do damage and knockdown all together. But the Thanksgiving jetpacks work great, so an overall positive. Generally this game keeps getting better. The regular events are fun. The new challenges were also fun, but I beat them pretty quickly. Hopefully there will be additional challenges, perhaps enough that you could do weekly or even daily challenges. And the rewards could be one-off items for use during endless mode, which would then open up the opportunity to create missions like “survive for a time without using one-off items.”

  • Pyramid Sector Unplayable

It took me 20 attempts and I cant get passed the second level. You guys made it blatantly difficult to beat it even if I have a maxed out jetpack. So make it easier alright?
  • Good except for impossible boss rush boss

I have really enjoyed playing this game, I like the prestige levels that allow me to reset while still feeling like I haven’t lost anything. I like the new arcade games even though they are pretty tough and the boss rush would be a really fun challenge to push through were it not for the blue mosquito boss. Unlike the blue mosquitos in the game the boss doesn’t just fire a few fire balls every now and then. Which is mostly expected from a boss, my problem is that after shooting three little fire balls at the start of the game it just lets out a non stop barrage of fire balls that are in a straight line across the whole screen with no room to dodge. So unless you haven’t died the whole time and he’s the last boss you play (which is random chance and so far has not happened) you won’t have enough lives to try to kill it.

Seriously devs, you’ve got a problem here and it’s about time you fix it.

  • Awesome, but a sound glitch?

This game is amazing, I play it almost daily. But I noticed recently that the music doesn’t play anymore. Even when you toggle the music on and off or delete and reinstall the game. The music is a great part of this game and it bothers me that I can’t listen to it when I play.
