  • Honestly great minus one slight problem.

The game is very fun. Progression is nice and it’s a pretty challenging game. I love that daily logins don’t reset if you miss a day. That’s a HUGE plus in my book. My only gripe is the lag. My phone is an 11 pro max so maybe it’s outdated nowadays but I don’t think a 2D game should have lag at all. I’m not sure if it’s a framerate or frametime issue. My controls feel responsive but the game will get choppy when there’s a lot going on on screen. I’m only guessing frametimes might be janky because it feels like an issue I’ve had on pc games in the past. I really hope the devs see this and can fix it.

Other than that problem the game is a fantastic runner game. Definitely try it out.

  • Really great game! Improves on the original. Needs a few performance updates.

This is a great successor to the first game. The level design and new ways to gain upgrades is a fantastic way for the game to evolve. They’ve even added a little ‘Fallout Shelter’ kind of section.

The only reason it isn’t 5 STARS, is because there are a few instances were there are very noticeable frame-rate dips. In a game such as this, where responsiveness is key, it can really hinder your gameplay and lose you a level.

Will 100% keep playing the game!

  • It’s Great overall

The game play is near identical to the original being they add more enemies and a health bar (which in my opinion is a lot better) but there are also actual bosses that have special moves that feel special to each one. And the different arenas that have there own unique enemies is cool and keeps the gameplay interesting. But i have a few criticisms. The badges seems really impossible to upgrade the highest the levels especially when the mini game modes give out such low prizes. My last critique is about the sticker album i wish i could choose which arena i could play in in order to get the defeats on bosses i need to unlock their specific stickers cause as of now it’s just pure luck if i encounter them or not. But other than that great game keep the updates coming 👍👍

  • Was good but now bad

Got this when it first came out and thought this was an ok sequel to the first. Stayed throughout all the updates and felt like the game at times were challenging and upgrading your Jetpack was worth it in order to survive. Hate the tron vehicle in this game and thought it was horrible in the first one. Now, it’s impossible to beat and having ALL the upgrades for Jetpack, vehicles, power ups and it doesn’t feel like they are worth spending money on upgrading. Game will 3 shot you and they have more lock on enemies that will follow you instead of going straight to your original position. Eggs that shoot out purple smoke are nearly impossible to get past and deal 7/8 your health from one egg. This game got hard because some idiot thought it was too easy and wanted this game to be a pain. There’s not point in upgrading your Jetpack if your health stays the same and the gun does NO additional damage. Game is bad and will be deleted soon.

  • What a fun game!!!👱🏼‍♂️

I am a big fan of Jetpack joyride 1 and usually game sequels are not that great. But oh my god this is so fun. I recommend this to anyone who plays the original game. I don’t have any complanets except that you should be able to play the endless mode earlier in the game. Because jet pack joyride is known for being an endless running game. But otherwise, great game and I love the kind of story that goes along with it. And the comedy. One more thing, lots of little kids play Jetpack joyride and in the story it said a bad word. Now I am not against bad words but some little kids may. And there parents too. So please fix that or put a warning somewhere. Thank you so much and please write back.

  • To Halfbrick: Almost perfect

This game is so amazing. It captures the nature of its beloved predecessor while still having plenty of new content. I HIGHLY recommend it. It’s a blast and it’s incredibly addicting.

There are a few frustrating bugs I need to report though. That would keep it from being 5 stars:

    1. On multiple occasions, I seem to enter an infinite loop where Barry is running and shooting, but not actually advancing in the sector. The distance meter never progresses and no new enemies are introduced. The only thing I’ve found to fix this is quitting that run and starting again. This is especially infuriating when I’m on a particularly difficult stage, I finally get near the end with a good health standing, only to be forced to abandon that run.

    2. I know this sounds like a cop out, but I’m certain it doesn’t register every tap on the screen. Sometimes Barry will fall to the ground despite my tapping and/or holding on the screen. Which is frustrating because sometimes that causes me to miss power ups or gems, or get hit.

I have a couple other very minor qualms about the game but those are the only major issues I’ve found. Ultimately, this is a truly amazing game and those are the only factors preventing it from being a perfect 5/5.

  • It is better than the first!

This game is honestly a blast to play! I remember playing the first one many years back as a staple to my mobile gaming times, and honestly after a few days I decided they nailed this sequel. It has so many new modes and interactions as well as a cool shiny progression system that suits the ‘pick-up and go’ gamer.

Very well thought out, extremely fun and extremely creative. There is indeed an endless mode that accompanies the missions so I can say without a doubt there is nothing to fear for those hesitant to migrate to this new version of the old classic!

  • Recent update

Absolutely obsessed with this game and have been waiting for the update. Two things to note since the latest update: there seems to be a bug where you can’t finish a game some times which is frustrating. Also, the levels have gotten to a point where instead of using skill you’re just fighting to get through and hoping for the best. The enemies just seem a bit too messy now and it takes the enjoyment away

  • Fun and challenging, but…

Super fun game with lots of leveling up and different choices on how to do that. Smooth streaming and good graphics as well.
What is super frustrating is that the progression is pretty much upside down. Every time I grind to level up, enemies level up even more, to the point that I’m getting less than half the distance on Endless than at my first couple levels. It keeps you playing, but at the expense of feeling like spending on leveling up is pretty pointless. The best games I’ve played keep you feeling powerful while still having some challenging elements as you level up. This one falls a little flat there.

  • I love this game but..

This is for the devs, the power ups are almost a power down except a few of them, with the last core/weapon upgrades, the damage output from the powerups scale down instead of up and some firing mode makes you miss some enemies/rockets and actually makes it harder to survive, for some reason j can't unlock the new upgrades from the latest patch, it says in the marble book i have to unlock new things and defeat new enemies but there's nothing new in the game?? Please fix the power up issue or just rename it to power down
