  • Feels half finished

Honestly just feels like a game that the developers are holding back content until they can aggressively monetise it.

The game that’s there on Apple Arcade right now is fun but pretty limited content wise.

This game can chug gets pretty slow frame times on iPhone 12 and 9th gen iPad.
  • Ok

I agree with some here. The original was better. The story mode in this is fun. I enjoy the themes of each sector. The rest seems bloated. Like they crammed to much into the game. There are no good backpack and or suit skins to choose from that makes it unappealing. The arcade games are fun but the only reason to play is to get parts to upgrade. I would rather pay with tokens. The health power ups during your run could appear more often. Also there are to many times that the piggy bank pops up. Way too much. Also with gravity run and the spaceship. Hardly get big stomper at all. I’ve completed all the updates so far. But beyond the main story it is dull and boring. There is no incentive to keep playing. Once the whole story is done I’ll probably delete game. There is just nothing to work toward.

  • Fun but...

The game is amazing. I love how it so much better than the original and the changes brought to this iteration are amazing.
However, there's one thing I absolutely hate. That is the "useless XP". Let me explain.
I have completed the game, defeated Queen V and am waiting for the next update. As of this moment, I can only play Arcade or Endless.
The XP that I'm gaining out of these modes, are a lot but it's uselss. Why? Because when the next update comes out, this XP does not mean anything. It's just you randomly getting XP for no reason. The game should add all the XP you gained during the wait time, to your next badges when available.
Other than that, the game is fun and deserves the 4-star.

  • Not great

I’m sorry but after my last review I need to make some changes… Before I was really happy with the game but after this last update the game has gotten nothing but tedious and just isn’t fun to play. Levels are too long and I’m noticing a dramatic change in the speed of progression, the flow has been completely ruined. I find my self having to wait ages to make further progression which isn’t good. Also I’ve been getting a lot of lag on the iPhone 13 Mini and with the last two updates this was not fixed. I’ve seen multiple individuals mention this and they have way more powerful devices than I. Shame tbh.

  • Almost perfect

I love this game so much, it’s lots of fun and an almost perfect mobile game. I do have 1 issue with performance though, I’ve noticed considerable frame rate dips on iPhone 13 Pro Max since the last 2 updates. This can be particularly annoying in such a fast paced gameplay title. Strange as the A15 chip is still very current, I’m sure this can be rectified for a smoother experience.

  • Amazing sequel, but there’s one problem…

This is a very good sequel. The story is funny, I like the new mechanics, and overall almost all the changes make this a very nice sequel. There’s one recent change, though, that I don’t like very much. In the new update, the time for the things in the factory to get full were increased by a lot. I get this is to stop people from getting a lot of one thing, but this is way too much imo. Three of them were changed to 20 hours, which is way too long, and another one was changed to 18 hours. I felt like the previous times were perfect. Please change it back to the way it used to be or at least reduce it severely.

  • Absolutely love it but need updates

I played the hell out of number one and now on this one am waiting for an update with 100k+ gold. I’ve maxed all vehicles and all but 3 weapons.
  • Fun, but too short

I had a blast playing this, but I’ve gone through all the available levels and upgraded nearly everything to the max level in a mere 3 days. The endless mode is nice — but there’s going to be no point to it after all the upgrades are completed. What am I supposed to buy with my money, blueprints, and tokens? I suggest making the upgrades more expensive (this probably sounds awful to most people, but I think it’s needed for longevity), raising the level cap on upgrades (otherwise, why farm tokens?), and expanding the “arcade” options *significantly* (only 4 games to choose from isn’t fun when 3 are always available at any given time).

Finally, none of the powerups/purchases from the main game make me any better at the mini games, and the obstacles seem so random that it’s hard to say I’m improving in any other way, or if the games even progressively get harder to begin with. For example, I “completed” the gravity race game very early on, which made me wonder why it had to end at all. Making me replay same game over and over for a handful of wires/screws/chipboards is the worst part about JJ2. Please add some other ways to upgrade badges, or again, add more arcade games so that it doesn’t seem like such a grind.

game is good i love the new bosses but its lacking some old fetures (and some new ones) ill write down some here

    NEEDS
    -------

-add heads pants and shirts back

-add some kind of season pass (so it doesnt get boring)

-add some kind of high tier reward events for end game players

    -Mulitplayer mode

    --------------

Personal needs (things that dont need to be added but I want added)
    ---------------

    -Hazmat outfit (i love it)

    -more player icons

-no gems just coins (no need for 1000 different curencys

-Jetpack joyride 1 Home screen/GUI theme (it looks really good)
    --------------
Conclusion: Game is really good in general but lacks customizeablility other then that 10/10

  • Extremely easy

The game very well made and it has a lot of content. However, it is extremely easy. As you progress, each level has a longer distance in text but the time it takes to complete this distance is more or less the same. To understand what I’m saying the last available level right now has a distance of 911k (whatever the measurement) and one of the middle levels has a distance of 54k. It will take you roughly the same time to complete this distance although you’d expect to cover 911k in a lot more time. And it’s not like there is an upgrade that gives you speed. The speed is always the same, the obstacles and enemies are getting mildly more difficult, so it’s always the same difficulty. I was able to complete the map in one day! That is 30 levels! And when you’re done with this, you can keep playing the last level or the arcade games, get a ton of money, upgrade everything, become ever more stronger and complete the new levels even easier and faster. So at this point the sense of achievement is completely missing.
