Great UI, accurate GPS and super support. I do understand the new paywall. It’s not for me but really disappointed the distances to the front and back of the green on the Apple Watch are also behind the paywall. ### 5/5 — Best Golf GPS! *2025-08-02* This app is amazing. Recently downloaded the app and will try it tomorrow for the first time. It looks good but The one major problem I have, on the Apple Watch, is the distance # is toooo small. Compared to other apps it is way too small. Could be a game breaker for me. If you can make the # larger it could be a home run. Would love to hear how your round went! ### 4/5 — Great app just missing a couple key features *2025-06-07* Hard to complain when something is offered for free. Generally, the distances are true for me on my iPhone 14 Pro. I can’t use the watch app on my series 4 Apple Watch. The battery on my watch dies by the 12 hole. I wish I could set first putt location and the pin location. That and handicap and strokes gained analytics. The rest of the inputs for each hole provide what you need for accurate strokes gain stats but I think setting the pin location combined with number of putts from first putt location, would be key. Having hole or round notes too would be nice to have but not critical. **Developer response:** Thanks for this great review! The app has all the features that my buddies want in other apps but don’t want to drop the money. My personal favorite feature is that it syncs with Apple Health. I walk the course and getting the mileage and calorie burn information is fantastic! If you’re looking for a premium experience with no cost, this is the one. **Developer response:** Thanks Daniel! Ich bin nach ein paar Testrunden von meiner alten App nun auf diese gewechselt. Wünschenswert wäre eine Einstellung, dass die iWatch das GPS des iPhones nutzt statt ihres eigenen, um die Akkulaufzeit zu erhöhen. Ansonsten macht es Sinn die watch auf den Stromsparmodus einzustellen da sehr viel Energie generell durch das Display verbraucht wird. Jetzt muss man bei der Scoreeingabe höllisch aufpassen und selber rechnen, das ist total verwirrend. Warum wurde das geändert??? We would love for you to stick around! ### 1/5 — Used to be good *2025-08-24* The app previously was completely free and was great for what it was. However, they’ve since added new features and a paywall. You would think that only the new features would be behind the paywall but instead of they’ve moved most features behind it. I would use this app on my watch during a round and it’s no longer feasible to do so. The watch display no longer shows the map, the map is no longer interactive, and it no longer provides reliable distances. Sure, it shows the distance to the center of the green but that information is practically useless when it doesn’t give you the distance to the front or back, or even show you what the green looks like. **Developer response:** Hi there, just wanted to revisit your review and let you know that we listened to you and others and have added back front, middle and back distances to the free version among other changes. You cannot use the features without paying a substantial amount of money so I will have to go elsewhere and look at other apps that will take my game to the next level. **Developer response:** Thanks for the candid feedback. However, they now charge for it. Some rumours that GolfPad app has a stake which is why they charge a similar amount. No more maps on your watch with the free version. Charging Premium price, yet only basic statistics and NO Strokes Gained info like the top apps, I do not recommend this app. Not using this app anymore. **Developer response:** We understand your concern about the move to paid. It has no way to manually select hole … app does not advance to proper hole … the Biggest issue is it will not turn off … the sync with watch does not work **Developer response:** Hey there, this doesn't seem right at all. Please send a note to support@15club.golf and our team will investigate asap! ### 2/5 — What’s the incentive to subscribe? *2025-09-18* This is my second review of this app. The first was a glowing review of the free version, which gave significant features for no cost. Roll forward to this version, which offers nothing new for your subscription. Only the promise of future features. I fully support the move to payment for the app, but those additional features should have been rolled out as part of the upgrade package, and ALL existing loyal users of the free app should have been given 1 year free upgrade to pro. All you’ve done is lock all your existing users behind a paywall, while offering zero incentive to upgrade. You’ve probably killed your app. At the moment, this app now offers less than its competitors for a similar price. Not really sure why I would use it, even though I paid the subscription. Which is a pity, as the watch hazard screen is still the best thing on any GPS. But as it stands, as a paid app, it’s now significantly lagging behind. **Developer response:** We really appreciate your feedback and take all users opinions into account! So weiß man, wo der Ball evtl gelandet ist. Einziger, kleiner minus Punkt: der hohe Verbrauch des Akku des Smartphone. Liebes Entwickler Team: kann man da nichts machen?
