Since I don’t have a television, I watch on my iPhone or iPad. However, it often takes more than 5 minutes for the Live broadcasts to begin, and sometimes, they never connect. Too many times a reporter gets cutoff in the middle of a story, an anchor will be giving a story that has another story playing on top of it, video stops and repeats what was just said, or it just stops playing altogether. A well written news article has more than a video. The app is not for someone who likes to read. There are other news apps that are better. 1 star or less. zero stars would be better. I will check it again in 3 or 4 months or when they try to improve the app. *********** March 13, 2018. Your version number 5.13.26 that just came out is the worst yet. Your have advertising audio that starts up on it’s own and keeps repeating over and over. It is wrong to force your viewers to listen or watch something they don’t want. I am deleting the app and waiting 3 to 6 months to try it again. Rating should be less than 1 star or zero at best. I do not recommend this app. *********** I tried the latest release and the App is still not worth using. There is still very little text. Mostly big photos. There is another new flaw or serious problem. After starting the app, a voice ad starts and there is no way to stop it from repeating over and over and over and over. My rating is less than 1 star. I am going to delete it again and then in another month or two if there is another update, I will try it again. ^^^^^^ The latest version is great for people who cannot read. I recommend a competitor's app. Anybody's except WAPT. I was hoping that the new version would be an improvement, but it was disappointing again. When I use my phone or iPad to catch up on the news, I don't want to waste time watching a video. Most of us in the digital world are busy. With a video, we have to find our ear buds and put them on or we have to go hide where we don't disturb others. Most of us are smart enough to quickly read well written articles. Maybe you don't have someone that can write. Since this is another "update" without removing your dependence on all videos and little written word.
