Хорошее, правда

Очень жду обновлений по тарифу Про. В целом, очень годный продукт для упорядочивания своей жизни.

Use to be good

It was good before the last update. Doesn’t work properly on IOS or PC. It has been like this for months. Not sure if they are still developing the product but current version is not offering any value. Cant set reminders on PC or IOS - pretty pointless. Added all this tracking of time but fails on the basic level of reminding you that a task is due. Get back to basics. It worked in the first version.

Thank you for your feedback. Obviously, we are developing the product since there are updates every few weeks. Reminders are available for single tasks and projects. Soon we are adding reminders for recurring tasks as well.

Nice but shop button is annoying

Bought lifetime pro and the shop button is still on the main screen. Also it’s telling me to upgrade to ‘premium’ even when I have pro. Pretty annoying. Can you get rid of this if Pro is purchased?

Love it!

Very easy to use and love the new update! Intuitive and simple framework to apply to any busy entrepreneur or professional’s workflow.

Chaos Box 2 is the nexus of productivity

I have used Chaos Box since 2022, and have recently upgraded to the new Premium option for time tracking. All I can say is that this app is beautiful both aesthetically and for its simplicity.

As someone who has to access information or add items to my list or projects throughout the day, the ubiquity that this app provides is priceless. I can access my stuff on my iPhone, my MacBook Pro, and my pc.

If you aren’t familiar with David Allen’s GTD methodology, CB provides a primer. But again, the beauty of GTD and CB is that it doesn’t FORCE you down any particular path of productivity, but rather provides a framework that you can then use to adapt to your own learning and work style. For someone with ADHD, that is invaluable. Every day you can use it differently, or you can follow the baseline GTD method, or you can make it your own.

I have two suggestions that would make Chaos Box even better:

1. Add a notes/journal section and don’t restrict the word count. For those of us who practice the Second Brain method for aggregating thoughts and notes to support the projects we are working on, or to provide deeper contexts, this functionality would truly add an exceptional layer.

2. Provide the ability to do a numbered checklist. The Ivy Lee method is an amazing and basic tool that folks can use to supercharge their day by prioritizing the up to 6 most important things that need to get done. I get around this by creating a project called Ivy Lee and dumping my 6 tasks there, or you can create a tag called Ivy Lee and tag the today items. But the missing piece is to create a numbered list. This would be an easy add on, I would think, and I would pay extra for these two features. They blend beautifully with Chaos Box, and would further strip the use of other apps and redirect our focus back to a single source of truth.

Keep up the great work!

Thank you so much for your kind feedback! We are super happy to have you onboard. Please note that we are adding notes in further updates and checklists are already available. You can add a checklist to any given task already!

UX is pretty but not particularly efficient

Simple things take several touches. Also, functionality around contexts is a little mysterious.

Response from developer

Hey, thank you for your feedback. We are working on improving many things in further updates. Please refer to the Method section to learn more about contexts.

Best I’ve found for GTD

Different people‘s brains work in different ways and this one seems to work for mine. Ability to use multiple contexts of different types is great and the folder/project nesting works well.

Suggestion for improvement - allow a quick add to chaos box with the Enter button (as for MS to-do. Makes it easier to just add a list of tasks on the fly.

App is terrible

Can’t download the app on my desktop which is a MacBook Pro. It says the developers need to update the app. When I try to login it says my password is incorrect. I want my money back.

Response from developer

Hello, thank you for your feedback. Please note that while the Mac version of the app in it's alpha stage, it can't be distributed through the Mac App Store. That is while we provide it through our website. In some cases macOS might show the message «Can’t install this app from an unverified vendor.» In this case, navigate to Settings → Privacy and Security. You will see the option to install the app anyway. As of the incorrect password issue it seems like you are trying to login into legacy Chaos Control account. Please email us to info@tarasov-mobile.com and we will solve the issue.

Version

Please put the version number on the update so we can see what version we are getting thanks

Response from developer

Hey there! You can see the number version right at the main menu screen.
