Cloud storage
This is function well. Doesn’t always hook up to certain camera. I don’t see where it gives access to cloud storage ???
Slightly Imprved
View Pro 2 is marginally better than the original app. That was a pretty low bar to beat but worth mentioning. It still requires too many taps to accomplish simple tasks. For example, live view and playback are separate areas of the app. Watching live view? Back out, go to playback, select the camera, select the date, start playback. Other apps (Unifi for example) put the timeline right under the camera live view on the same screen. Those let you view live or scroll around the timeline in one place. It should be that simple. Also, the iPad app doesn’t fill the screen. It’s basically the iPhone app enlarged, but not actually formatted to correctly fit the screen ratio. Annoying, but not a deal breaker. Turning your device sideways to view a larger image resizes weird too. That said, it is better than the original View Pro. That was a one star hot mess. View Pro 2 at least functions. Amcrest cameras work great and are reasonably priced. Amcrest NVRs have been reliable for me. Their mobile app development however is still ten years behind where it should be.

Much better than the original app
Not sure why so many haters of this app. I find this to be much better than the original app. Just about all these camera apps are clunky. This one seems to be much easier to use and works great with all my (6) different Amcrest cameras.
Needs more work
This new version has promise but still lacks the basic ability to show you events seen by the cameras and jump to them. Hopefully they add this.
Fails to Connect
Very primitive user intterface. Does not support self search for Amcrest cameras. Failed to connect to the camera even though two other third party aps have no problem. A reflection on the quality of Amcrest cameras.
Usually apps gets better with time..not this one
My cameras are all online and i can watch the live streams with Amcrest View Pro (the first version). When i tried to watch the same stream with the newer version(Amcrest Pro View 2), stupid wont connect.
Useless!
App just doesn’t work. Renders my Amcrest camera system utterly useless. Camera system used to work great. The latest update to this garbage app has made my camera system unusable. I get push notifications but there is no live view or playback available. Horrible app. Whoever designed this garbage should quit.

Much better setup experience
I was blown away how easy it was to setup the new camera with this app, as compared to the old app - kudos to developers. A much better experience overall!
Worse than first version
I used first version before and this newer one is much unstable and has numerous bugs and errors.
