Average App
This is useful at times, while being a huge annoyance at others. There’s so much needed to be improved, but I fear this is the best that we’re going to get for a while. Selecting the library for holds is one, who wants to scroll through all the libraries in a tiny box. The search function doesn’t allow for the customization that the website allows.

How about some contrast?
It’s impossible to read the screen on two different phones. Needs way more contrast
Can’t self checkout
This app works but on Android I could self checkout. Now when I scan on iPhone the self checkout always fails.
Allows multiple users, but excruciatingly slow
As a parent, it’s useful to be able to have the app be logged in on both my and my kids’ library accounts! I can request books for them, check on their checkouts, and generally use both accounts without needing to log out and back in.
But, any action that involves the database is sooo slloooooowwwwwww. Bring your patience and your memories of the 2004-era internet.

As good as their website
So far I am impressed with the library’s app. I can look up my account to see the status of my requests and the books I have checked out.
I did a search for a movie actor and found movies the library has with that actor in them. I did a search for World War I and found tons of responses, just like on the website.

Keep Developing - This would be awesome if it works
Searching does not bring up results and often just shows spinning busy icon. I haven’t been able to get into my account.
I look up books weekly, if not daily, for homeschool so would love an app that navigates just like the website with better mobile interface. Right now, though, this still needs a lot of kinks worked out before going live.

Crashing
Setup my account, tried to check my holds, and the app crashed. Going in again, it crashed at the same place. If it’s truly capable of being used by slightly older models, then they have more work to do.
Good Start but Search is Not Helpful
Good functionality all around, but the search function is only good if looking for something specific. General topic searches are useless. Try looking up what they have on World War 1 and finding anything interesting. Even tried Advanced Search and came up with barely anything. Good start for the app at least.
