I have no idea how these ppl are still in business. The positive reviews must be faked.
Got their system some time ago (4 cams and recorder). Didn’t have time to install it so they were sitting in the box for few months. Eventually I found time to install it. It worked ok for the first month and a half when first camera died, I contacted them and they used all they could to dodge me and and the end made my buy replacement. Only a couple weeks later two more cameras stopped working. They ran me through a complicated and very inconvenient process to „troubleshoot” later I learned that it was just their standard way of dodging the actual support. They were running me around just to make things impossible. Many other options out there - stay away from that brand, this is a scam.Show lessdzrkn

Recently the live view fails 90% of the time. I have to restart the app constantly just to be able to see one or two out of 16 random camerasCamrion

The defender empower app has been a very useful addition for me to be able to keep an eye on my house. The app has been pretty easy to learn and use. I would recommend the empower app and the defender camera systems.JVB4242

I had purchased the Defender 4k Sentinel to be used at our business location.
The picture quality is absolutely incredible.
We have fiber internet through AT&T, and we have never had a problem with connection issues.
Set up was easy, and the best part of it all… no monthly subscription fee for the mobile app!
Customer support has also been great in responding to any inquiries I may have.

Having chosen Defender products for our use for many years with having used the various devices and available apps, we were not disappointed with the Empower App. The ease of setup, with quick and easy access is what we come to expect! Great response time and functionality! Whether at home or away, we have instant access to our system, alerted when issues arise for review and all without a subscription service. Great App
Great app that is reliable and very functional for checking cameras, would love to see cloud storage though.JKS1297
Clumsy, awkward app. Good system
I like that the data does not require any kind of cloud subscription, and I can store the video. I like the way you can configure the actual security system. However the app is clumsy and it intuitive to use. Actually quite difficult.
Furthermore may notify if an event, however when reviewing the footage of that event the video is blank, and the event is found in a different spot.Show lessever_summmer

Honestly this is a terrible app. It’s “offline” almost every other week. Customer support is unhelpful each time this happens. Don’t waste your money on getting cameras that use this app.Formerleague
