  • They removed motor tuning for Electra Townie go

    The previous version of this app allowed you to tune the motor. Beware- this new version 2.4 removes that feature. I am extremely disappointed. When I could tune the motor for less pedal assistance I felt like I had a brand new bike tailored to me. Now that’s gone, without warning or explanation.

    We do apologize for the abrupt change on the app. We are working to eventually add this feature back into the Trek Central App once we have finalized our latest update. In the meantime, please download the Hyena Rider Assistant app to modify your motor settings.   • Doesn’t connect to phone

    It doesn’t work , without an update !! Why doesn’t the dealer make sure that the bike is up to date before delivery, it’s a ridiculous situation

    Good app for adjusting things in the bike, The maps to me seems a bit of an issue , I ride an 8.6 mile route but the satnav maps wants to go on a 12 mile route, I’m not sure why that is and can’t see a way of choosing my own route, at the moment I’m running 2 devices..

    Thank you for your valuable feedback. The Navigation on Trek Central recommends a route to a POI that favors bike lanes and less-travelled roads. This can sometimes lead to a route that may be longer, but perhaps safer or more comfortable for the bike you are riding. If you want to ride your own route, we recommend importing a gpx route on the "History>Imported"tab and then selecting the "Ride" option here to ride the previous route.     I really love the low profile of the bike computer on my Fuel Ex-e. I really wish that you could customize the screen data. Like why can’t we see mileage? I really don’t want to have to mount my phone to get this data! Please improve the software to let us decide the data we any to see.

    What the app does, it does well. But there are some obvious next steps that haven’t been added, such as: saving motor tune profiles. I hope they have not given up on this app.

    Used this right when I got my Fuel EXe and the motor tune is super useful yo dial in how the bike rides. Love this app

    This app severely needs a dark mode and the ability to send your location to people plus a little bit more custom ability in the screen on what can, and cannot be added to it, in the sense of giving us another place to add one of those extra pieces of information to the screen when riding.

  • Ponto go wont connect

    Bought brand new ponto go have tried several times to connect turned everything off and on several times, the app will find bike but not connect smh

    Hello and thanks for the feedback. Please bring your bike to your local retailer for a firmware update to version 1.32. Once done, the report should show "32" listed next to HMI. Once you confirm the service report shows "32", simply reselect the bike in the list of "Bikes Found" and a connection should be made .If there is anything else we can do to help please send us an email at ridersupport@trekbikes.com or give us a call at 1-800-585-8735.
