  • Not uploading to Strava

    The app will not connect to Strava

    Thank you for your feedback. Currently the app is compatible with Strava and would need to be linked to your trekbikes.com account. Here is some support help for this issue. If you're still having issues, please reach out to ridersupport@trekbikes.com - Attention: Richard - with your e-mail and bike serial # for us to investigate further. Attempting to Upload/Link from "Ride Summary > Share" Workflow On Android, riders can open the "connected accounts" workflow when attempting to share/upload a ride On iOS, riders can only connect Strava/Komoot from Settings > rider profile > connected accounts. Attempting the Android workflow on iOS will always show a "failed" error of "You should sign in" Default Browsers and Settings On Android, riders must have a "Chromium" browser as the default app to connect an account. If they use Firefox, the connection is not made On iOS, I haven't been able to test this since it appears that Safari is always opened and is always successful
  • Don’t expect a lot from the app.

    If you only use the app for adjusting the motor settings it works great.

  • Wattage Info/Avg Speed Not Even Close

    Resubmitting as my initial review and developer response were deleted after a day.

    The rider/power wattage post ride in the app (and average speed) isn't even close to being accurate. Seems to be on the bike display while riding, but afterwards? Nope. Did a 30 mile ride in 1:40. Showed average speed of 13 mph- that math doesn’t work.

    Average rider power was 56 watts? More like mid 150's, which is what was typically shown on the bike display. Something is seriously amiss with this app. Domane+ SLR6

  • App fails to connect my iPhone and Domane+

    After picking up my project one Domane +, I was disappointed to find that I could not pair my phone to it. I kept getting an error message “Connection unsuccessful. Bike type not found”. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, deleted the bike from Bluetooth, and reset the bike numerous times without success. Very disappointing!
    Update: Trek reports that a fix is in the works.

    Hi there! We are aware of this issue and are working on a resolution as quickly as possible. The issue is related to the unique SKUs that custom Project One models have and referencing this unique SKU to the correct Bike ID in the app. We are manually updating our database so that the app will reference the Bike ID's correctly. Once our database is updated, you won't need to update your bike or app and you will be able to pair your phone to your app. We apologize for the inconvenience, but the issue should be resolved soon!

  • *Edit: Finally Working!!

    FINALLY after 5 months of owning my Exe the app now works!! The last update 2 weeks ago has solved the pairing issue so many of us were having..

    Now to review the app itself, it’s good!! The app has some great features and the ideas are all there but I can’t help thinking it’s very boring.. about as visually pleasing as an excel spreadsheet haha!

    Here’s a few suggestions for the devs reading:

    - A background/theme selection of colours/fonts
    - A selection of Navigation voices.. she’s so bad!
    - A way of customising your own dashboard
    - Use your own photo for your bike (mines resprayed so it’s weird looking at the old colour)

    Anyway I’m just happy to have this working now but will keep an eye out for any future updates and change my review if anything improves!

    Hope your all out shredding these beautiful machines, they really are a dream to ride!!

    Hey there, sorry to hear you're having connection issues with your Fuel EXe and the Connect App! With recent updates made on the bike side and app side, we believe the connection issue you are having is related to an error where your bike has an incorrect serial number value stored in its system. This can be remedied by having your Trek dealer connect the bike to their service soon which would initiate the correct update to bridge the gap here! Let us know if we can help further!
  • App no longer stuck on download maps :-)

    Contacted by the developers today to advise there had been a server downtime and things should now work. That appears to be the case. Thanks for the follow up. Unlucky timing with my first log in attempt I guess.

    Updated the rating to 3 star for now as it works (and they responded which is worth a lot!). May edit again in a few weeks once I know how it works.

    I was so excited to get my new e-bike. One of the main selling features for me was the ability to set the amount of assistance within each of the modes. Unfortunately the App is stuck on the downloading maps page and won’t let me progress or go back. I have tried removing and reinstalling but it takes me back to the downloading maps page each time.

    *Update, maps should now download! The app server is currently down causing the maps to not be able to load. We're currently working on the servers to get these fully operational soon! Once they are back up, there is no need to make any changes as the app won't need an update. Sorry for the downtime!
  • Faulty Automatic ride tracking

    Automatic ride tracking is undependable and doesn’t start sometimes.

    Thank you for your feedback Mutro. If you are riding in an area with low service, GPS might not detect location movement which could be causing the inaccuracy. We will look into any improvements that could help.
  • Won’t register

    I have a Domane + with the TQ . When I try and pair with my iPhone . The Apps say a bike is found and the picture is a mountain bike ! . When I try and pair and enter the 5 digit code , it fails. UPDATE . If you download the TQ software from the APP , it works a treat and passcode is required

    Hey thereo Please visit your local Trek retailer to have them run a firmware check on your bike as this may be leading to connectivity issues if your bike is not running the latest firmware! The Trek Central App is only compatible with TQ-equipped bikes, so your Domane+ LT would not work or connect with the app since it uses a Fazua motor. We recommend pairing your bike to the Fazua Rider App instead. *If this is a Domane+ SLR please visit your local Trek retailer to have them run a firmware check on your bike as this may be leading to connectivity issues if your bike is not running the latest firmware.
