Worse than useless
There may be or have been a worse charging app out there, but I can’t imagine what it would be. The difference between an empty parking spot and a blink charging station is that an empty parking spot won’t entice you into standing there for an hour trying to get your car charged.artist3333333
Bait and switch- prepare to be scammed
App rates inaccurate. I created and account and was significantly overcharged for my session as well as hit with a bunch of fees that the app said were not part of the station I used. Charged my credit card when I did not authorize it to. Of all the charging apps/networks I have used this is the worst. Stay away from this scammy app/network, you will be overcharged and hit with all sorts of fees that were not listed.Show lessEarthclimber
Basically unusable
The app freezes so often and is generally so slow I’m just using the Blink card. To charge my car would be five straight minutes of frustration with the app. Or less than 30 seconds with the card.CharlesP2008

Getting your crap together!
I already had to pay off all of my fees that weren’t being charged, now, out of the blue, you hit me with some a bunch of the exact same charges?! It’s not worth using your product if I keep spending a ton of time having to correct your issues.nnmendoz
Non-functional
The new app is not operational. A week ago, it took me 10 minutes of attempts to start a charge. I charged for 90 minutes and left. App didn’t register anything. 3 days later, I received an email notification that my charge had just started (I’d long since finished and left). At present, the app shows that I’m currently charging (I’m not) and I’ve been charging for 101 hours (with zero energy delivered).
I don’t know what’s happened to this app, but it’s unusable, which means the entire Blink network is unavailable to me.

First of all they released this new and separate app and “turned off” the old app without any sort of messaging in the old app that the new app exists, just generic messages about the service being unavailable. I missed an opportunity to charge because of this.
Secondly, they force you to add $20 in “Blink Cash” to your account in order to use the service, even if the charger in question is free. This is a garbage business practice that needs to end.Show lessastonius

Whomever “fixed” the chargers, made them worse actually. At least the ones I use. They now charge 0.03 cents PER 30 SECONDS for charging, and 0.02 PER 30 SECONDS JUST TO PARK instead of kWh. I work 12 hour nights, and for one charge it costs almost $20 parking for THREE hours. It used to cost 0.39 cents per kWh with FREE parking as it states on the PlugShare app. I spent over $30 one night!!! This is not okay and probably not too far off from false advertising. I’d like my money back. All of it. For the inconvenience, misleading information, and having to miss work going out to my car to unplug it so I don’t spend an arm and a leg.
