  • Takes a REALLY long time to finish

( By the way, if your reading this I would just like to say this is only about the main game not the bonus part )I’ll start by saying that this game is overall AMAZING!, but can take a while. There is a fast mode, but it tends to go too fast for my reading ability. Although it is nice when you have to wait, long periods of times. I recommend using fast mode only when you need to like when Taylor is going to sleep or long wait times around an hour or so, but that’s the only aspect about this game that really needs noticing, Although, it gives a real sense of time which I think is pretty cool. This game is extremely thrilling and has such a good storyline! It is so fun and adventurous! I hope in the future they can make chapters to this or sequels.
One thing I wish I read about this game before hand is that it involves A LOT of reading I mean A TON! Personally, I don’t mind that, but if you aren’t exactly amazing at reading, I don’t recommend this game for you because it will be very, very tricky. Also, there are no visuals in this game just pointing that out. It would be cool in the future though if they made a game for this with visuals about where Taylor was or maybe a different story as if Taylor and I crashed together and needed to make spot on decisions. But overall, this game is amazing and I totally recommend getting it!

  • One thing

This is a fun sci-fi game and it entertains me every time I play it. I just got into the game and it is pretty fun except for one thing. When I ask Taylor to go to the ship, it takes a few hours for him to get there. And throughout the game Taylor just takes a few hour long breaks. I would like to make the wait time a bit shorter. (Expect an edit soon) Edit: Actually, after playing the game a little bit more, I kind of like the waiting thing! It gives me plenty of time to do whatever I want on my phone and it makes it more suspenseful! You earned another star. Edit: Wow I’m stupid. They had fast mode the whole time so I can just move it faster.

  • Worth a play through

I’ve played this game twice since I got it, and it’s quite good.
Most reviews said it took about a week to finish, I must have done something right as it only took me a little over two days.
There are two reasons that I didn’t give this game five stars. One is that Taylor is awake for roughly eleven hours depending on how fast you are to reply, then they sleep for about seven-ish hours, so at some point they WILL start talking at night, I quickly had to learn to turn my ringer off. Number two is that this game does get repetitive once you beat it. It would be nice if something as small as their name changing every time you play so it doesn’t feel like you did a weird time loop.
All in all it’s worth playing, I’d say it’s definitely one of the best games in the Apple Arcade,

  • Endless texts from your girlfriend

I really hope Taylor makes it, but after endless non answers I feel like I’m trying to help someone on Reddit who isn’t ready to help themselves. If you feel like playing a novel game that missed a bit of a mark and overwhelms you like the girlfriend you don’t have, this could be it. I feel the exact same game could be written with a script that could be happening now instead of on Rigel vii in a galaxy far far away would be so enthralling. Instead this is part 2 to a smash hit game we never saw.

The devs earn 3 stars for smashing the creativity. I’m a HUGE scifi nerd but the scene wasnt set for this story soon enough. Before I knew it I had pages of texts from a strange new world.

Turn this into a murder mystery where someone is trapped and they can only send a message to you. Then maybe you’ll play it. I sure wont. I hate murder mysteries but I do think it will make the game better.

  • This game is crazy! (in a good way)

First of all, I have not yet started the bonus story yet, so this review is just of the entirety of the main game.
I honestly can’t remember what day I started this, but it’s been around a week(?). I have read complaints about how long it takes to finish this game, but I don’t mind it at all, as it makes it seem even more real. Also, the ending is wild (I loved it). Also, don’t give up after you (accidentally, I hope) kill Taylor the first time (or second, or third, etc.). I’m glad I stuck with the game until the end because (as a somewhat sci-fi and a big horror fan) it was amazing. For the hours I played this game, it felt almost real. As if I was actually talking to someone who crashed on some moon. Although there are only two dialogue choices for each ‘response section,’ I, almost always, had one option that at least somewhat resonated with what I’d actually say. Also, Taylor doesn’t always listen to you, helping giving them (no identifiable gender) a more realistic personality.
Overall, I’ve really enjoyed the game as it is fun to wake up in the morning to play out an interactive game alongside a neat character.
Checking my screen time, I was on the app for a little over two hours for the main game. I spent over an hour on the last part of the main story today. Neat game, 10/10 recommend!

  • Fun for a while, but kinda disappointing

I was really into this game when I first got it. I just finished the “bonus story” you get for saving Taylor, but I won’t get into that as it’s pretty much a set path with not much too it.

Taylor’s journey is what I want to talk about. From the get go I was super into the style. I loved the eeriness of not knowing what was going on and kinda having to experience everything secondhand. And then I started to notice the inevitable shortcoming of all these choose your own adventure type games. There is only one correct adventure for the most part and if you don’t choose all the right options you’ll probably end up getting Taylor killed because you said the wrong thing. Not only that, but the ending of the game kinda ruined the appeal for me. I loved it when everything was mysterious and the threat we’d unidentified, but it turned kinda cheesy sci-fi real quick towards the end. I won’t spoil anything but I will say this: this game does not take much effort or time really so if you’ve got a few spare hours to kill over the course of a few days go for it, but don’t expect anything too groundbreaking. It’s just “fine”

  • Wonderful!

Before you purchase, read at-least part of the description… This is a gave played via “text messages”. This mean you need to do quite a bit of reading. The game does have a fast mode, but it is discouraged due to the fact that this game is not meant to be done quickly!

Now that all of that is out of the way… It is well written and you WILL build an emotional bond (of sorts) with Taylor. I do wish that there were more opportunities to interact and a bit more variety of what to say. There also needs to be a fix for the amount of notifications that come through. I personally feel that 1 notification, when it is time to interact, would be best, rather than for every single phrase that Taylor says. There also needs to be some type of heads-up, when it comes to “Mel”. Knowing that the outcome is the end of that chapter, would be quite important knowledge to have!

Still, it was a lot of fun to play and I truly enjoyed it. I look forward to more chapters or a sequel all. This game is worth it!

  • Amazing

This game is probably one of the best games (aside from Roblox) I have ever played it’s great your constantly trying to save Taylor by looking stuff up and making choices soon after playing it feels like your actually trying to help a real person and not playing a game although she does say a few dirty words and you get the choice to say dirty words sometimes I completely suggest for tweens, teens, and even adults only downside is you can’t play it at school or work 🙂 but I guess that’s true for any game other than educational games (to the developers: great immersive experience)

  • Taylor

Overall it’s a good game. But I have to say Taylor is SUPER annoying. She almost makes me want to just stop playing all together. She complains WAY too much and her conversations are rather boring. She’s like a fly that just keeps flying by your face and you try to sway it away but it just keeps on coming. That’s how I view her complaining. I haven’t finished it yet bc I have anxiety. And this game doesn’t make it any better. I want to get through it but Taylor complains WAY too much. And the things she talks about is baseless and pointless. It’s not interesting nor entertaining. I Mostly skip past her ranting. Outside of that the storyline is good. The character not so much. Mostly a bratty annoying teenager. This game could have did without that type of character and made more dialogue between the player and the game. Hopefully they update it. If not, I don’t see it lasting much longer on my phone honestly

  • Worth The Play

I didn’t make all the best decision my initial play through. I really enjoyed the speed of the game, I didn’t feel forced to play like a lot of other games I play. I appreciated the speed and time spent playing so much that I did something I never do… I allowed notifications… Congratulations Lifeline+, “tell them what they’ve won Bob! Really enjoyed a lot of the time capsules of childhood references used comedically throughout. Before I knew it I was at the end, but wait there’s more!!! I really like how easy it was to play back through from any decision. Immediately played through exploring every option and outcome. Can’t wait for the next story.
