  • Fantastic classic text adventure

How I titled this is honestly my review. Throws me back to old TI-83 calculator text adventures from when I was in school. Well paced to not rapidly fly through it and keep you engaged and waiting on Taylor’s next update. I admittedly am yet to complete the story but thus far I’ve kept our stranded comrade alive and hopefully will get him rescued some day.

  • This game is crazy good

Bro when I say the game is good the game is good I mean you have to look stuff up like literally look it up and every decision
You make can affect Taylor a lot so be careful and there is a wait time to like if he sleeps or walks a long distance it says Taylor is busy then you have to wait until you get your notification but over all the game is A ABSOLUTE BBBBBBBB BANGER

  • Fast Mode

First off, the game is amazing. But for those that complain about the game being to slow, once you die the first time (this can done quickly in the beginning of the story(hint: sleep on the ship)) you will be presented with an option to switch to fast mode. The reason for 4 stars is that I think Fast mode is a bit to fast. I tried it, and the text scrolls way to quickly. I think it would be great to just skip over the long periods of “Taylor is Busy” but keep the same texting pace as normal.

  • Missing Out

Is this game really just texting a stranger who does not exist? I feel like I’m missing an element here. People are clearly enjoying it and I’m not going to yuck their yum. Nor will I bang on developers who are getting people to enjoy language and reading as a focal point. Five stars from me. I’m going to go back and check on Taylor, maybe it will hit me while I’m there.

  • Interactive Novel

I was intrigued by this “game” at first and then I realized that it’s not a game but more of an interactive story. You as the “gamer” only have control over your responses. You don’t really influence the story much. The outcome is pretty much predetermined. It doesn’t even allow you to choose your path. There’s a set storyline and if it wasn’t for the pacing most people would finish this interactive story in one day. I gave it three stars because it had potential but there is room for improvement if it’s going to be marketed as an Apple Arcade title, not a standalone application. They should disclose the fact that it’s more of an interactive novel than a true gaming experience.

  • Solid multi-day distraction

It’s basically 21st century choose your own adventure with additional plot steering. There really is only one single arc and no matter how many ways you try, you are always steered back to the same point. It needs a less linear more tangential series of plots. Given the simplicity of the game, the additional functionality is more creativity than resource, so I hope they build it out.

I give it a 4 because having gone through it, there is little reason to keep it and revisit.

  • Simple and elegant execution

This is an incredible example of doing a lot with very little. It's literally just a text adventure with binary choices, but the UI and audio do a tremendous amount to set the scene appropriately.

I was shocked how much I immediately empathized with the main character and really want to see them be safe.

Seriously, two thumbs up for such a wonderful execution of video game fundamentals.

  • Interesting little pastime

I’m not sure I’d call this a “game”, not in the traditional sense. You get to make a decision from 2 choices, but there’s no action as you find in most games. It was interesting following Taylor’s journey and the aftermath. And while I can presume what happened, I still feel a sense of wonder…. I guess it’s not possible, but it would’ve been fun to be able to enter explanations for your decisions. I did enjoy my short time with this adventure.

  • One of the best mobile games I’ve played

Sci-fi survival horror without the jump scares or having to fight the baddies in first person. Tense and emotional, I’ve become friends with a witty character whose life depends on my decision making, good or bad. It drew me in instantly and I nervously awaited each little beep that alerted me of Taylor’s update to see how they were faring on their journey in a bleak environment. Brilliant game all around and I can’t wait for the next chapter.

  • I like the game but here’s a problem

Ok here’s the problem so I finished Taylor’s story, but after that, you cannot do anything in Mel’s story you need to add an update where it’s all a dream or something and you can go back to Mel’s story this would be nice to hear that I can play it again please update it so you can play again thank you bye-bye
