I loved this game. I loved the mystery and the choices you get to make to help someone survive! I can’t believe I was so entranced by the journey. Waiting to see when the next check ins would be! What dilemmas to solve next. It was like you were a apart of something bigger. And you really felt connected to a person who doesn’t actually exist. Please I need more!

  • Pretty good

This game is very interesting wish it was longer than a few days. But truly was a fun interactive game.
When “Taylor is busy” you must wait until he contacts you. Can be minutes to hours of time.
I find that fun and keeps the game interesting. Truly is a cool story line.

My man and I both played it at the same time and some things he experienced I never did and vice versa based on answers chosen. Even the slightest choice of “left or right?”

Wish we got to learn more about Taylor, again I’ve been playing for 3 days and my game is already “over.“ you can go back and change answers I’ve gotten a couple of outcomes. (There’s also a bonus story based off of Taylor at the end) definitely looking into other “storylines

  • 10 out of 10 out of 10

I never write reviews, but this deserved it. It literally has me hanging off the edge of my seat. I’m so concerned for Taylor!! I haven’t even finished yet but this game is off the chain. You literally have to wait for a response which is hard cause you just want to get to the end, but waiting makes it better. A good update would be randomly including some videos or audio. I also love the fact that there’s no pressure. They don’t force you to respond by a certain time. Love it and worth the download. Gotta go! Taylor is hitting me up and needs my help!

  • 5/5

Overall I loved this game. I had seen the versions of the app where you had to pay for it, and it always interested me; so when I got the three months free of Apple Arcade I was super excited. And I love interactive games like these! Taylor’s character was witty and I always looked forward to hearing from her. I would love to see more of the developers apps be added to Apple Arcade. Such as the continuation of Taylor’s story, and the others…preferably before my 3 months free of Apple Arcade ends…but I know that might be unrealistic 😂 (But I’ll keep an eye out for it!) Anyway, like I said, I loved it.

  • I’m enjoying it!

I’m new to this game and didn’t really know what I was getting into, but I’m glad I did! I’ve been enjoying how this game runs on real time and you really do have to have patience, but I’ve found time throughout my day to interact with Taylor.

I’ve looked back at the original version and I noticed that it has the Apple Watch companion option, but this Apple Arcade version doesn’t. I’m a little disappointed In that, but, Taylor may just have to wait a little longer for a response…

Overall, I’ve really been enjoying it and am exited to continue this story.

  • Not great

I’ve been playing for a few days now and I’m not super impressed. The story is slow and skips over scenes that could be exciting.

Taylor whines a lot, especially if you tell them to do something they don’t want to do. It makes me want to ask them why they asked me if they had already made up their mind, so I guess the game is immersive…just not the fun kind. They also make an ‘mEtRic HaRd’ joke every time they mention a distance, which gets old fast because none of Taylor’s jokes are very funny.

The story is broken up into 5ish minute chunks. Not all the chunks include a choice, but you get to make a few choices each day. I don’t mind the slow frequency of choices and I wouldn’t mind waiting between chunks of the game didn’t send a notification for Every. Single. Message. Once I received 10 rapid-fire notifications and when I got a chance to check the messages, they essentially said “I tripped over something. I don’t know what it was, and I’m going to go back to walking in a straight line now.” That was the whole chunk. No choices. Not funny. It didn’t progress the story. It sent TEN notifications and then told me to put my phone down for an hour.

I’m not sure you can lose the game, but I don’t really care if I win. If I finish the story, it will be because I wanted to waste some time.

  • My heart stopped too many times

The story is quite gripping. Don’t play this game at night! It got me hyperventilating with all the crazy visuals going through my head. One thing, however, I was not sure if this should be interpreted as incoming text or voice especially when there’s a lot of actions happening. I certainly don’t see myself busy texting and making important decisions while in the middle of action lol.

  • Choose your own adventure

If you’re looking for a game in the traditional sense, this isn’t it. This is like one of those old Choose Your Own Adventure books from the 1980s & 1990s. Except the cool part about this is the main character interacts with you (and if you enable notifications like you are supposed to, it’s like getting a text from them). I really like this game a lot.

    For people considering this game:

    1. Do not play this if you are an impatient person that doesn’t like games with downtime. This game has downtime. You will absolutely not like it.

    2. Do not play this game if you are the kind of person that needs to play a game full speed and finish the whole thing in a day. This moves in real time, *so there is waiting*. If waiting bothers you, either avoid this game, or go play other games during the downtime and let the game run it’s course.

  • Why remove the Apple Watch app?

The game itself is fantastic. I’ve played through most of the Lifeline series a few years back, and it still holds a dear spot in my heart.

What I don’t understand, however, is why the Apple Arcade version doesn’t have the Apple Watch companion app that the regular version has. The Watch app was a really clever addition that played to the advantages of the portable nature of the Apple Watch and was considered the best game available on that platform. I assume it’s because Apple Arcade wasn’t made with the Watch in mind. Unfortunately, this reads as a missed opportunity to highlight the best of Apple’s platforms.

  • Kinda lame

Idk like it’s ok at first but it’s kinda lame like the story is just some guy rambling on and on and you pick what he does and he rambles. If this was real life you’d walk away and let him die in space, it’s rather annoying. Aside from that I mean if you like storybook games it’s pretty good, it’s not all bad. It’s just weird enough you kinda want to keep playing but also really don’t want to cuz you’re tired of it. It’s a strange mix. I would say don’t get your hopes up of this being a game you want to keep around but it’s worth checking out if you’re bored.
