Since ya didn’t fix the crash issue, I moved on to sunfunkit
The app crashing issue when monitoring any of my four lion batteries was never addressed or fixed. I’ve moved on to sunfunkit that know how to build an intuitive app for their batteries that don’t crash. Adios, Lion energy.
Use with UT1300
The latest a update is Terrible, app crashes 90% of the time when trying to connect to my UT1300 batteries in order to check status and draw. It only used to crash 25% of the time.
Great App
So far the app looks good and simple to use but missing key component. I would love to see a feature that would allow me to record the history of charging and discharging my Safari unit using Bluetooth connection and be able to export it to a file for further review. Other than that, the app works great!

Mid-August Update KILLED this App!
✅ I’ve used this APP successfully for over a year now, without any problems or issues...
❌ Then, in mid-August Lion Energy performed an update on this APP and things went to rubbish! I have two batteries and now, connecting to either of them is akin to playing a video game.
The APP always opens and shows my two batteries, but then when you click on a battery (more often then not) the info will FLASH on the screen and INSTANTLY CRASH the APP‼️
You reopen the Lion Energy APP only to have it repeat this behavior again, and again, and again. To be more detailed, let me clearly relate that for (approximately) opening the APP 30+ times I ‘may’ be able to read the status of both my batteries ONCE in ALL of those attempts...if I’m lucky. 😕
‼️ W-h-a-t-e-v-e-r they did to the APP in mid-August was certainly a mistake...and yet here we are, two weeks later without a roll-back to what used to function, nor an update to repair the damage done. 😕
✅ It ‘used to’ perform as intended, flawlessly. 👍
❓ Now, it’s a huge, lengthy workout and a crapshoot just to glimpse the data about your Lion Energy LiFePo4 Batteries. 😵💫

Crashes often
I have four batteries. If I have the screen showing the status of one battery, the app will crash after awhile. Sometimes it crashes immediately after selecting a battery. Random behavior that’s hard to replicate. Could use an overhaul. Why not see data of all associated batteries at the same time?!
Does Lion Energy LLC not read these? It’s still happening. Really changes my opinion on buying from them again. Sad.

Not accurate
My battery readings on app are never accurate. It’s frustrating and customer support is no help.

Sometimes it works
App crashes on a regular basis when trying to connect to two UT1300BT batteries. Sometimes it works if I get further away, but not too far away from the batteries.
Does not sync properly with new batteries
I purchased 2 UT 1300 batteries and Lion's charger. The batteries came 20% charged. So I charged them prior to placing them in my travel trailer. I then downloaded the Lion Energy app and synced it with the two batteries to discover the app said the batteries were only 80% charged. Contacted the company and was told that I needed to empty the batteries recharge and resync them. For the money to purchase 2 UT 1300 batteries and the charger, my expectations, trust in the product not to mention the app is significantly undermined. Next, the manual that comes with the batteries and charger do not tell you that syncing the app and Battery Management System could be a problem nor how to correct it.

Can’t wait to go camping!
I have been using the Lion Energy app for the last few months! It has been awesome to connect to the summit to view what the energy input and output is! I have been able to monitor the status of my smoker as a test for taking it camping this year and it works like a charm! Can’t wait to take my smoker camping and have the best food while in the mountains!
