Not worth the cost
I tried this & itโs not a good fit for a brand new Samsung TV. It wouldnโt stay connected. The rear speakers were so low I couldnโt hear them & they were on Max. Itโs just not worth the cost. Bravia is for Sony & nothing else. Iโm taking it back. Bought on Black Friday deal so I guess Iโll wait a year to get the system built for a Samsung.

Terrible Connectivity
I have a Sony Bravia 9 TV. I bought the hoping it would work seemlessly. Sounds great, if you can get it connected and keep it connected. The app is horrible, and setup takes a lot longer than it should because of it. On top of that it loses connection frequently and requires set up again. I would expect plug and play for the price. Going back tomorrow. Iโll find another option.

Worst user interface
For a product at this price point a seamless setup experience is a requirement. Sony you fail miserably!!! If you are incapable of delivering on WIFI setup we all would be better served if you stuck with Bluetooth only. Sony you should be ashamed for rolling out such terrible user experience
Stopped working
No longer allows me to connect to Bravia Theatre Quad. I cannot manage any sound settings or optimize the surround sound since I cannot connect.
Better than Bose
This thing rocks, I donโt even understand how itโs possible really. โSound fieldโ? Take it from me, itโs REAL. It WORKS.

Sony Bravia bar 9 cannot connect after update
I have a Sony Bravia 8 55 inch Oled TV(2024) and a Sony Bravia theater bar 9 with Sony RS5 rear speaker. I use this app to setup and connect them. After finish the initial connection and setup on the system. The soundbar device just got disconnected from the app and I cannot connect it back to the app again. The app support does not help at all. I checked my phone Bluetooth settings but this wonโt helps. Anyone encounter similar issue?

Got the A7000 SW-5โs RS-5โs
Invested in Sony best brand out there. Unfortunately no support for A7000 soundbar paired with a SW-5 sub and RS-5 rears. This is beyond me and Sony need to updated this App so we can utilise its features. One star unless updated โบ๏ธ
Terrible App Worthless
This application is worthless I cannot use this on my Sony Bravia XBR โ 65A8H ,I canโt believe that I have to use another third-party app for me to use my television because I lost my remote since the app itโs from Sony I would figured that it would work on Sony models yet I can use another universal remote app on the App Store embarrassing

Worked once and now it wonโt connect
This app only worked 1 time for me and now it wonโt connect anymore no matter how I change my network settings. Low quality Sony app that adds absolutely nothing to owning their newest television. I deleted this app without a second thought.
