Can’t offer type in keyboard when I was trying tot log in to some app, cant log in to most tv providers
Critical functions broken
Pairing is so buggy and flawed. The BLE Pairing prompts are never reshaped on a retry and failures are ridiculously high. This wasted an hour of my time where all I wanted was to change the freakin WiFi on my Sony Theater Quad…. Which implicitly pulls it from my TV for some dumb reason.
Tv screen option
Either I have hooked this up wrong or there is no volume options or any type of options to show up on the screen. I have a Sony A 8 believe it’s the year 2018 when I bought it so that’s my problem and I cannot change the input because the Sony sound bar blocks, the sensor on the TV. I believe it’s a must for there to be more inputs in the bar so the TV does not become the issue.

Stressful nightmare.
about to return everything tv and sound system. Doesn’t work constantly disconnecting. Lag with sound on video games. Problem after problem.
Doesn’t work
I have to sign into my Sony account to configure my soundbar, but the app is doesn’t seem to recognize that I’ve signed in. My subwoofer is useless and I can’t configure my soundbar because of the broken app and dumb sign in requirement.
Terrible
Got the Brava bar 9 and tried to use it with this app. It freezes constantly, doesn’t connect and is deeply disappointing. Been waiting and waiting for a tech to get back to us. Only solution to get music in our house is to not use this app but rather access the Spotify app on our tv or connect to the speaker via Bluetooth. Crazy.

Cannot connect to Theater Quad
I purchased Sony’s Theater Quad system. The Bravia Connect app simply refuses to connect to it. This is a MAJOR problem because the ONLY way to access settings or set up the system is through the app. Sony please fix this asap.

Indefinitely searches for a new device. The TV is on, latest software updates, and the same network. This app needs developers’ attention.
