So far so good. I was using Varo and before that chime but once I heard about Greenwood I decided to give it a try. No problems so far but please whoever reads this, please add auto save paycheck and ADD ZELLE! If we can get those 2 things this app will be perfect. Don’t be like chime and give us that weird pay to anyone feature but other than that I’m here for the long run.

I hope this message get out to the development team. I love the app and for how it is so far, it you can implement a bitcoin selection I would be awesome!!! I know that would take time but I’m patience for my time
HONEST REVIEW
I decided to give greenwood a chance after hearing it was a minority owned back and also it was supported/owned by Killer Mike and Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young. My only issue is Customer Service and Refund status. It’s been a whole 13 days and I haven’t received a refund for something that I know for other bank doesn’t take more than 3 days to get, IF THAT. It’s very frustrating when they say they have customer service BUT nobody I mean NOBODY answers the phone. I was hold for 1:03:22 before I hung up. Very disappointed in this. Rather than that I do love they send alerts on everything from deposits, when you spend, and even when you block your card off. The early two days in advance direct deposit is pretty cool also. I’m going to stick it out to see if it gets better but I’m only disappointed in customer service and refund status.

The change is happening right before our eyes. The black community needs to get behind this bank! What it doesn’t have currently can be acquired in the future! Anything missed out on offered by another bank pales in comparison to the historical impact this institution could have! Love it!
Behind The Curve…
It’s 2022 and Greenwood has put out a useless app. I made a deposit and the app doesn’t alert you when the money is posted. I have to assume that if I use the debit card for any transactions I won’t get alerts for that either. This is a very poor way for this financial institution to start off. Also, customer service is almost nonexistent and this is NOT a 100% black bank! Look into what bank is holding the money.

So far it has been working well no bugs and accessed to everything
Love but
I love using this bank and the app isn’t bad. My only issue is that the app crashes when I’m trying to see my balance and there isn’t any other way to view my accounts when this happens. So I have to delete the app and redownload so I can view my account. This is a bad bug that needs to be fixed!

The absolute worst
Customer service don’t have the qualifications to do their job as they never know what’s going on or how to provide a solution for standard issues. And the people who are in charge of dispute department are grossly negligent in regards to the process of their job. Just give me my money so I can put this nightmare behind me

I didn’t have a problem with the app until I couldn’t sign in. I deleted the app and now I can’t get to my account. It’s asking me to add it to my Apple Wallet and I’m trying to figure out, what Apple Wallet has to do with me downloading and signing in to my active Greenwood account.
